Carney: PSU charges 'outrageous'

The White House says that President Obama thinks the child rape charges against a former defensive coach at Penn State are "outrageous." Press secretary Jay Carney declined Thursday to weigh in on Penn State's decision to fire its president and the longtime football coach Joe Paterno.

"You know, we're not going to get into the decisions made by the university," White House press secretary Jay Carney told reporters on Thursday. "What I can say is that if the allegations about what happened up there prove true, then the allegations are outrageous."

PSU President and prominent Democrat Graham Spanier was on the short list to become Obama’s Education Secretary. There’s a very high likelihood that he was vetted by the Office of the President-Elect® before Arnie Duncan was appointed.

Let me guess... the journolisters didn’t bother to ask if such a vetting ever occurred and if so, what it turned up.That would require some interest in finding the truth.

I sure hope that he meant to say the actions described in the allegations are outrageous. But with this Administration one never knows for sure do they?

Maybe they should get a press secretary who went to college and can put together a sentence which makes logical sense.

What's outrageous is the culture of political correctness which Carney and his allies have enshrined.

Joe Pa was turned into a fall guy because Graham Spanier needed company to take the heat off his politically correct effeminate ass. That's all.

If interested, you can read my supporting evidence for this opinion here.

Outrageous as in too much punishment for such a little offense, outrageous?

OUTRAGEOUS? Hardly the word I would have selected for this situation. Or does he mean that 0bama thinks it is outrageous that people are livid about this? Or he thinks it is outrageous that this story has kicked the Cain scandal clear down the page? Or it is outrageous that people would think adult men in leadership positions would have some shred of decency to protect children from deviant sexual abuse?

But of course the WH would feel this way. What’s raping a handful of boys in contrast with raping an entire nation?!

Part of me wishes this scandal had held off a few more weeks before breaking. Paterno was slated to receive the Medal of Freedom. Would have been nice to have the visual of Obama pinning a medal on him before the total crapstorm broke loose.

larry sinclair was rumored to be on obama’s short list for the reggie love job. No one gets vetted with obama.

Yeah, it’s hard to figure out if he’s defending or condemning Sandusky based on that lame statement.

so much focus on a coach being forced and not on the real victims the boys who were raped and molested by a homosexual child molester.

PATHETIC AND SAD how this country has become, kids rioting not because they want justice for the little boys who were raped, no sir, they riot because their football coach was forced.

Colleges need to be looked and see what crap they are feeding these students and parents need to do a better job of raising their kids so they think of the real victims first not some football coach.

little boys raped, no big deal it seems to the white house and these students.
Football coach gets fired and there is riots.

Now it seems a football coach getting forced is more important than little boys being raped for some. Saying that the left see sex with little boys from homosexual child molesters as not a big deal and if they have their way with their queer agenda raping boys will be legal.

screw the football coach my prayers go to the little boys

The allegations aren’t outrageous, the conduct alleged is outrageous. At least I HOPE that’s what the Carney meant!
