Two thoughts:

1. This is an outlier as many other polls don’t look great for him.

2. If it is true, I’m *this close* to just giving up on the whole effing thing, as the entire country, no, the entire world, is too stupid not to eat it’s own sh&t anymore, and there isn’t much point.

Too bad for them Gallup polls registered, not likely voters. Registered voter polls always track left, just like the media coverage since people who aren't really inserted, and do not usually vote, will simple repeat the last headline their saw or news blub they read.

Odd that Gallup still uses this obsolete polling standard.

He won the first time by exploiting anger and is aimed at doing the same thing again

I personally know people who love this president. What’s worse, some of them are in the extended family.

Freepers dont realize that 1 year is an eternity in politics, and that the economy was bound to have some kind of turn around, just because. So we shall see what happens. One thing I’ll bet, it wont be like anyone is predicting.

I’d prefer a President Barak Ubama gridlocked and investigated by a Republican congress to a President Myth Romneycare with a green light from a Republican congress.

His improvement in the polls is more a sign that the Republicans are foolishly playing along with his “divide and conquer” strategy.

What a load of crap. I remember the liars in the press telling us that Mondale was “surging” against Reagan. We see these lies from the propaganda press every election.

Can’t we just ignore these BS stories?

How about we quit with all the stupid happy talk about how Obama can’t win or is going to drop out. He is polling remarkably well considering what an awful job he is doing and the terrible state of the economy. The public WANTS to like him, and his class warfare shtick looks like it is helping him among the ignorant masses.

This is going to be a very close election and whoever we nominate better be capable of running an excellent campaign.

I wonder what his poling numbers will be like when he actually starts spending money from the Billion dollar campaign fund he is amassing....... And yes I do believe he will accumulate that amount.... even if Soros has to foot the difference. Lucky for O he can use the taxpayers money for his campaigning and just claim it is for official Presidential business.

Once he starts his media blitz on the major networks flooding the airwaves with his message about how...."I'm going to give to you out of the kindness of my heart ..... and the Evil Republicans want to take my gifts away from you so their rich friends can prosper while you suffer" .... it will be very difficult to counter. The GOP are going to be portrayed as the evil people that want to take the candy from the poor suffering babies. And my guess is that the GOP will counter the emotional plea from the left and exhaust most of the campaign funds responding with the tired old phrase of "Giving candy to the baby Kills Jobs!"

Sadly and unfortunately the electorate is becoming increasingly complacent and are beginning to enjoy having their meals and expenses paid for by others and will be happy to receive it as long as possible. With that mindset they will gladly vote for whomever will keep the Dole coming in.

Obama has also gained tremendously among swing voters —who favored the generic Republican by over 20 points in September, but now are split between Obama and the dummy candidate.

Hussein has made up 20 points in ONE MONTH? Color me skeptical.

Said it before , saying it again,

Obama will be VERY hard to beat and if Romney is the nominee Obama wins, easy.

Of course he is. That is because the Republican candidates are making asses out of themselves with these ridiculous, childish debates. They are laughable and they stand there like excited beauty pageant contestants waiting for their fishbowl question. Same questions, same answers, different ties.

The GOP has allowed the Dems to control the message the past month. The Dems scream, "where are the jobs you promised, Republicans?!", and Boehner mumbles away in gibberish- while Obama looks like he's doing "something" (which of course, is all nonsense).

The MSM will never be on your side- you have to seize the discourse and pound it home...
