What he said was twice as shocking as anything that's been released thus far.
"I can give you a rumor and I can give you something I think might happen," Madden told John Dennis and Gerry Callahan. "I hear there's a rumor that there will be a more shocking development from the Second Mile Foundation -- and hold on to your stomachs, boys, this is gross, I will use the only language I can -- that Jerry Sandusky and Second Mile were pimping out young boys to rich donors. That was being investigated by two prominent columnists even as I speak."
Madden also spoke more definitively to the cover-up efforts at the school and beyond that he expects will be made public soon.
"The other thing I think that may eventually become uncovered, and I talked about this in my original article back in April, is that I think they'll find out that Jerry Sandusky was told that he had to retire in exchange for a cover-up," Madden said. "If you look at the timeline, that makes perfect sense, doesn't it?

This could wind up reaching far beyond the city limits of State College, PA.
Well, there was the Assistant DA who disappeared, along with his laptop, the hard-drive of which was found in a river, unreadable...
Didn't say that at all, but I just want a little more confirmation before proclaiming it as "gospel." It wouldn't shock me in the least, but also, sometimes the most wildest rumors can be put out there in the Internet, like we saw during Katrina.
The winningest college football team in America. $$$
This Madden fellow may be right, but he should have waited until he knew that this rumor was true.
I think it will.
We know this entire sordid affair had been reported to the PSU administration. It sure sounds like a cover-up, and if it is that means more criminal charges against the PSU administrators.
PSU has now become the face of the corruption and perversion that has overtaken higher education.
If this is true..it’s beyond the pale sick!
The Second Mile..Providing children with help and hope.

Letter from the ‘President’ about ‘bullying’....(I guess pimping little boys out to rich donors is ok though.)
This may be the real reason that there is an unsolved murder in this case.
That was the first clue that this thing could go far beyond just a former assistant coach banging kids....there were a lot of very powerful people that were ultimately involved. Perhaps this is the underside of the iceberg that we knew had to be there. If all of this is true, who knows where this will end up.
Yeah, that's how far the deal has gone.
Penn State can end up paying many beaucoupe gazillions of bucks damages to these guys ~ and there will be more than 8 of them lining up for the big payoff.
The State of Pennsylvania could be on the hook bigtime for this? Where are they going to get the money?
Can you say, “Bailout”?
Or like the Cain accusers. Better to have the facts than to throw it out there as though you do.
If this does prove true. It is repulsive.
Lets not forget that just a short time ago the APA came out and said pedophilia was not a sickness.
I am thinking that if I were an administrator, president, board member, coach (any sport), staff coach or donor/alumni of any college or university, I would be most curious and nervous of ANY deviant behavoir at my institution.
I wonder what kind of meetings are going on this morning in higher education circles?
I posted this and now regret it.
It is an allegation. I personally would quash this thread.
If true, the football program should be shut down for Five years, minimum....this makes SMU look like a walk in the park.
Bingo. The D of C is filled with predators and parasites. Lucifers most devout followers.
I’d wager there are a lot of nervous people on American college ‘campi’ right now...
