Tea party leader calls for Cain to drop out

The leader of a tea party group is calling for scandal-embroiled GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain to drop out of the race.

Judson Phillips, the founding leader of Tea Party Nation, said Cain’s flailing response to sexual harassment allegations brought forward by several women was simply unacceptable.

“Herman Cain has got to go,” Judson said in an email to Tea Party Nation members. “I do not believe Cain’s accusers. There are too many questions about them. The allegations are not why Cain should leave. The campaign’s response is why he should now withdraw.”

Thanks! I find it really bothersome now that it looks like the smear machine is backing down. Seems he wanted to preemptively surrender. We are never going to beat the Left with allies like Judson

Thanks for the info. I guess Cain is not Judson’s favorite candidate. I “googled” Nation and found that he is from TN and is apparently the founder/organizer of Nation. But, this is another example of alleged Conservatives(I consider the TP movement a conservative movement)practicing cannabilism on their own. Judson, just STFU if you can’t say something good about a potentially great candidate, anybody will be better than the “zero/scumbag/traitor” in the White House now, even Romney; on the other hand, I won’t vote for Huntsman.

You're welcome, and yes Palin running would make it a game changer.

None of the current crop rise close enough to the top unfortunately.

Of course Obama and his fellow Marxist racists do NOT want Cain to run because they could not play the race card on him.

And they know they can beat their boy Romney.

Romney would be worse that Obama.

Plus he cannot beat the Present O.

Romney certainly isn’t my choice(my tagline says that), but I don’t think he would be worse than Obama, at least he comes closer to being a patriot than Obama; and, he will lose a lot of votes from Conservatives if he’s the nominee. But, would you vote for Obama over Romney?

I would not vote for Obama, or Romney.

I got pulled in last time and voted for Sarah, and then McCain gave he election to “he would be a good president” “there is nothing to fear from Obama” Obama.

And they threw Palin under the bus soon after she burst on the scene and upped McCain's Presidential aspirations to where he might have been elected.

It's in the GOP corner now.

And they will NOT allow a conservative to be nominated.

Maybe this time when their next in line (Dole, McCain, Romney) looses because they ignore the conservatives in their base, they will learn their lesson.

But it seem more and more there is only one party, and the GOP would be just as happy with Obama or Romney.

The only hope for the GOP is for the republican conservatives to take over leadership. It'll be a bloodbath I would imagine.

I see nor recognize no focus leader of the Tea Party. The Tea Party is a state of mind; a state of discontent and dislike of ever-expanding government and reliquishment of personal freedom. Our collective franchise in Freedom from big Government needs no leader's direction. It only needs experience in living under this liberal-controlled Government. It only needs the knowledge it has gained that the Government now controlled by liberals and Muslims have chaos in mind for us in addition to total control...

I don't need a damned Tea Party Leader to speak for me. I only need a chance at a fair vote, and a fair chance of my vote not being Tsunami'd by a plethora of illegals, multiple-voting minorities, and a wholesale cheating regimen by liberal Secretaries of State throughout this land.

Yup. No tea party member does. We can agree or disagree when they pontificate. And see (re this thread) how they get shouted down and countered heavily when they express a view which is unacceptable to what the TPM is all about.

You got that right. That is a very important fight at this time. Many elections have been decided by bought votes via Obama welfare policies, ACORN, and illegals voting.

The person posing as such, should resign.

How do you resign from the tea party?
