a graduate assistant saw Sandusky assaulting a boy in a school shower...There's something I don't understand about this story that I haven't found in the coverage for days. What was a "boy" (or "boys") doing in the shower at Penn State in the first place?

Sandusky founded The Second Mile charity in 1977, working with at-risk youthsGot it. Never mind my previous post. I assume these were the assaulted kids.

Part of Sandusky's M.O.-his victims ultimately ended up in the shower with him.Sandusky had unrestricted access to the locker rooms which included the shower area.He would get his victims in there using the pretense of having to wash up after a wrestling practice, whether they were sweaty or not.

What was a "boy" (or "boys") doing in the shower at Penn State in the first place? Sandusky (retired coach) worked with the boys from unstable homes and had access to the Penn State athletic facilities (an office and keys to the building). He just brought the boys there under some pretext and used it as a place to groom and assault them.
