As he continues to battle media coverage over past sexual harassment allegations, businessman Herman Cain leads other Republican hopefuls in the first Rasmussen Reports look at the GOP primary race in Florida.
The latest statewide telephone survey of Likely Republican Primary voters shows Cain with 30% support while former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney picks up 24% of the vote. Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich draws support from 19% of Florida GOP voters with no other candidate picking up double-digits.

This Florida survey of 788 Likely Republican Primary Voters was conducted on November 8, 2011 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- 4 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence. Field work for all Rasmussen Reports surveys is conducted by Pulse Opinion Research, LLC. See methodology.
Oh dear
Romney got “seriously” beaten...
Cain sucks. There is something there about his behavior and no matter how much we want to blame the press, you can’t stick your head in the sand. Move on to the next hopeful.
You can't be like Rooty and put all your eggs in the Florida basket, but if Iowa and New Hampshire produce different winners as they generally do, this is where the final decision is made.
Florida works almost as well in the general election too. You need only look at three states: Florida, Ohio and Pennsylvania. Anyone who wins two of the three wins narrowly. Anyone who wins all of them has a cakewalk in the rest of the country.
Karl is a tool. So are all the ‘talking heads’. Krauthammer, Kristol, et al. They are all in the tank for Romney. Boy, shades of Reagan. Those of you old enough, before the internet, this same crap was going on. Now, we’re up on it. Thank God for talk radio. They can’t get away with it anymore. I’m amazed Reagan was able to cut through this crap. Now, the conservative forces have a voice, their (establishment) tactics are not working. Even if you don’t care for Herman Cain, you need to support him. God knows the GOP won’t. The tea party is needed for this battle right now. Get over this circus, move on.
If Obama was vetting like this, he’d still be in Illinois. Shades of Jack Ryan? We not only have to defeat the dems, we have to defeat the media.
We have our work cut out for us. Like I said on a previous post, my Son-in-law did 5 deployments, we MUST deploy.
We will prevail. Freedom is the bane of the libs. LOL. I’ll never give up.
"The blacks are too stupid to do anything on their own" liberals and the "White men only " RINOs must be furious. A lot of money is being spent on Bimbos to take Cain out. Those gold diggers aren't cheap (financially speaking).
Prove it. Where's the dress?
You speak with authority, just what behavior have you personally observed to come to this conclusion? Did he hit on you?
Cain leads in Iowa, Ohio, South Carolina, and Florida
I’m listening to a radio host in Boston right now, Howie Carr. I’ve been a fan since he came on the air but now I consider him to be a pile of crap now. He’s sucking up to the Boston media and kicking Cain when He’s down based on these baseless claims. Earlier, without any vetting, he let another liar on the air to attack Cain. On and on she went. Howie’s show was being taped so he loved it. Then an older gentleman called to criticize Howie’s boyfriend Scott Brown on a related issue and Howie immediately cut the guy off. WRKO has a great new host on from 1-3, Jenn Brien. She’s got the balls Howie doesn’t have and she’s a veteran. I hope she gets his spot soon. (Howie’s doing his ‘death pool’ now...this is where he takes calls about when people are going to die. I think I was far too complimentary when I called Howie a pile of crap.
I love Florida and I mean that seriously, because I love my FRiends most of all.
Hi Penny!

"Teacher says, every time Politico prints another hit piece, the Cain campaign register rings."
So, where are Perry, Bachmann, et al?
Yay!!!!
I am not a subscriber so I can’t tell, but it says that the other candidates were all in the single digits.
Bachmann, Santorum, Huntsman et al will all support Mittens even if Cain wins in Iowa.
:)
Thanks, I really appreciate that. Normally, I don’t like to be so vulgar, but if they are gonna drag everything into the sewer, then in the sewer will will be!
I went back and read some of your posts to see who you support. Mostly dissing Palin but not much constructive. Do you have something to say that would add to a given discussion? When you’re with your friends, is this how you talk politics?
