Things are so bad for the GOP and/or Republicans are so turned off by the idea that Mitt Romney is their only viable option rumors have once again surfaced that Sarah Palin could get back in the race.
Yes.
NYT numbers expert Nate Silver thinks there's a slim chance she could pull it off.
One major constraint is that the filing deadline has already passed in New Hampshire, South Carolina and Florida. So a candidate who entered now could not get her name on the ballot in those states, although some states, like New Hampshire, allow for write-in votes.
However, the candidate could participate in caucuses, including the Jan. 3 caucus in Iowa and the February caucuses in Maine, Nevada, Colorado and Minnesota, which do not have rigid filing deadlines.
She would also potentially be able to participate in the primaries in Arizona and Michigan on Feb. 28, which are the next primaries following a four-week gap after Florida....

Anyone who thinks Chris Christie has a better shot at the Republican nomination than Sarah Palin is smoking better dope than the richest trustafarian at Zuccotti Park!
Are they now?
No.
“BACK” in the race? Wouldn’t someone have to have BEEN in the race to get “BACK” in the race?
She could “GET IN” the race however.
Myth is no Ross Perot.
He would split the Liberal vote.
Glynnis and the rest of the presstitutes are concerned. Can’t you see it? LOL
Yes, please!
Yes, please!
There is no need to make bad things worse.
Heaven knows, I’d vote for her. On the GOP ticket or an ‘independent’ one.
A brokered GOP convention??????????
She won’t for the same reason she didn’t enter the race in the first place.
—Are they now?—
My thoughts exactly.
It would make her look indecisive.
What do they mean “back” in the race?
When was she in it?
She’s still my first choice. Solid moral compass, a real Christian and not a fake one, a proven record on cutting pork (even “free” pork from the Feds) and dumping Republicans of the Corrupt Bastards’ Club as well as corrupt Democrats. Knows how to develop the economy and cut regulations. Is solidly proven on the social issues. Not afraid to confront our enemies and not back down.
I’m really angry at the way they’ve been going after Cain. But I still have reservations about what he would actually DO if he got into office. He has worked for Bob Dole, and he has said he’d be willing to be Mitt Romney’s VP.
I KNOW that Sarah could rise to the occasion. And she’s the only one yet in sight, frankly.
“- Things are so bad for the GOP and/or Republicans are so turned off by the idea that Mitt Romney is their only viable option”
This is not accurate. The Republican establishment and Mitt Romney fit together like a glove.
It’s no longer Republicans versus Democrats, Ms. MacNicol, but Conservatives versus NWO Communists. The latter includes the Republican establishment going along with whatever the New World Order Communists and the Demonrats are doing.
The Conservatives represent the people of America.
I have thought she held out to see if Christie got in. If Christie did he would have diluted the RINO vote.
“NYT numbers expert Nate Silver thinks there’s a slim chance she could pull it off.”
I am suspect of ANYTHING Gay Nate Silver has to say, especially coming from the gay-run New York Times.
You’ll note how “GAY” keeps coming up when you are talking about today’s “Mainstream” media?
As I look at the field I fail to see anybody better than her. She may (or may not) consider herself ‘out of the running’ but I am tired of choosing between bad and worse. Unless someone is willing to stand up and take her place I will write her name on my ballot. If one of the present slate of GOP wannabees gets the oval office or if Obumble gets re-elected it will make little difference to this once-great republic. They’re all Socialists.
