Fifth woman raises questions about Cain's behavior
Washington Examiner ^ | 11/7/2011 | Susan Ferrechio

Posted on 11/07/2011 10:10:55 PM PST by Qbert

A former employee of the United States Agency for International Development says Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain asked her to help arrange a dinner date for him with a female audience member following a speech he delivered nine years ago.

Donna Donella, 40, of Arlington, said the USAID paid Cain to deliver a speech to businessmen and women in Egypt in 2002, during which an Egyptian businesswoman in her 30s asked Cain a question.

"And after the seminar was over," Donella told The Washington Examiner, "Cain came over to me and a colleague and said, 'Could you put me in touch with that lovely young lady who asked the question, so I can give her a more thorough answer over dinner?'"

Donella, who no longer works for USAID, said they were suspicious of Cain's motives and declined to set up the date. Cain responded, "Then you and I can have dinner." That's when two female colleagues intervened and suggested they all go to dinner together, Donella said.

Cain exhibited no inappropriate sexual behavior during the dinner, though he did order two $400 bottles of wine and stuck the women with the bill, she said.

The next time the women heard from Cain was Christmas, when he sent them his gospel CD.

Donella said she felt it was important to describe her encounter with Cain after hearing more serious allegations of sexual harassment brought by other women.

"I couldn't swear that he had some untoward intentions, but we all thought his tone was suspect and we didn't feel comfortable putting him in touch with that woman," Donella recalled.

"I think [Cain] should not be a serious candidate for the presidential nomination because of what I've seen," said Donella, an independent who said she voted for President Obama in 2008 and probably will again next year. "He's not a person I would want running the country."

Cain's campaign did not immediately respond to inquiries from The Examiner.

This reminds me of the story of the leprechaun’s gold. A story is told of the man who compelled a leprechaun to take him to the very bush where the gold was buried. The man tied a red handkerchief to the bush in order to recognize the spot again and ran home for spade. He was gone only three minutes, but when he returned to dig, there was a red handkerchief on every bush in the field.

If Cain is ineligible to be President, then Bill Clinton should just about be ready for parole, for rape.

I once went to a Burger King, and then all of a sudden, there’s Herman Cain, asking me if I wanted his Whopper. I’m going to the press!

Unless you’re respond to something I wrote, there’s no need to ping me. I’m not interested.

Thanks in advance.

“They can only sling mud and personally attack, and take it to the gutter to a “sex” level.”

Happening Now just had this chick and Allred on. It was disgusting. Glad Herman’s having his press conference today. His 2-segment spot on Kimmel last night was outstanding. Can’t remember if you posted the link, but if not, watch it on JK’s website. Really rallied my spirits.

That statement alone says this one is bogus.

A) Don’t Care.

B) Given this womans ties, we now know WHERE these BS stories are coming from and WHO is behind them.

I am quite relieved that it’s not coming from the G.O.P. establishment RINO’s. If found out, it would have split the party.

Sounds like Bill Kurtis agrees with Michael Savage—that the roles in the car were actually reversed. Looks to me like at the very best Bialek may be delusional.

***Karl Rove just mentioned this on Fox***

He actually made a little sense: Cain should demand the NRA provide redacted copies of the settlements - exonerating him - but without releasing the complainants’ names.

I agree!

THIS is why we have OPEN primaries - to vet candidates.

We vet everything that could come out on a general election, true and false.
We end up with stronger candidates and no surprises later.

The libs will keep bringing these bimbos forward until Cain is marginalized; they will manufacture as many as they need. Remember its not the truthfulness of the charge, but the charge itself that is remembered.

And, of course, Cain might have come on to one of the woman 15 years ago, and later thought better of it and remembered his marital vows, and never repeated the action. Does that disqualify him for being president? No more so that Obama's using cocaine, which by the way is an illegal act whereas Cain's (if it occurred) is just bad behavior.

And, so it continues. Question: Where were these women/"witnesses" when Cain first announced his candidacy?

Funny how they all seem to crawl out of the woodwork at the same time - after months or years of "knowing" all these terrible things about him.

As I said on another post, “So what you are saying is, that men must walk on eggs while women can wreck havoc indiscriminately and, anyway that they choose. This is certainly not the America that I know!”
