LOS ANGELES (CBS) Conrad Murray has been found guilty of involuntary manslaughter in the death of Michael Jackson.
A jury of seven men and five women, deliberated for less than two days before convicting Murray in Jacksons 2009 death.
Jurors had 300 pieces of evidence to consider after listening to 49 witnesses and complex medical testimony during the six-week trial.

“hopefully this will make doctors think before handing our drugs and painkillers like candy to celebrities.”
No, this will just influence cost of services.
I am shocked, shocked that a jury in LA had common sense..where the heck were these jurors during the OJ case, bastard would have already gotten the needle by now
When I saw the crowd of misfits cheering, I decided that I am for whatever verdict they are against.
Michael was not black. He bleached himself white.
Unlike Michelle He didn’t know when to quit.
Michael Jackson had been a train wreck for well over a decade. Murray made a poor decision in agreeing to be his doctor and give him that particular drug; but Jackso was going to be dead within a couple of years regardless of what Murray did.
Lol. I was referring to Cain, but I misplaced my gerund. Murray's luck just ran out.
Black man killed black man = no riot.
Actually there would have been riots had he been found not guilty. He was found guilty so no need for riots. Had OJ been found guilty there would not have been riots either.
Michael Jackson was guilty of the death of Michael Jackson.
When I was a little girl, I was a fan of Michael Jackson and the Jackson 5. He was my peer in age. As time went on, the sad thing about Mr. Jackson was the “freak show” he was becoming.
I am on the fence on this one. Michael Jackson was headed for death and he had many people helping him including himself. Why just choose just one enabler?
But he was helped by Dr. Murray.
“Jackson hired him to be his personal physician presumably with the understanding that he would watch over Michaels health.”
More likely Jackson hired him to get prescriptions/access for the drugs he wanted.
Actually, black man killed rich white woman.
Why no riot? Because rich white woman used to be poor black boy.
This was a state-court conviction, so no "club fed" available. Even the lowest security California state prisons are not very nice places. Plus he will lose his medical license, and he is now automatically guilty of medical malpractice (the only issue to be litigated in the estate's civil suit will be the amount of damages; liability has been established by the guilty verdict), so he will probably wind up broke as well.
This wasn’t just painkillers or recreational drugs, it was actual surgical anesthetic. It is only supposed to be administered by an anesthesiologist who constantly monitors the patient while he/she is under. It’s shocking the guy would administer the stuff to Jackson and then just walk away to his room and go to sleep.
“Jackson hired him to be his personal physician presumably with the understanding that he would watch over Michaels health.”
I strongly agree with the verdict but the truth is that Michael Jackson did not hire Murray to watch over his health but to make him a legal/medical source for his addicitve habits. A medical pusherman if you will. Physicians in Hollyweird have for decades broken laws re: their stars/junkies medical treatments.
It’s horrendous knowing Michael Jackson died needlessly—————he would still be alive if the incompetent doctor had called 911 when he saw his patient was in trouble.
Murray was being paid $150,000 per month to treat Jackson. But he completely abdicated his medical responsibilities.
If a doctor gives you an aspirin, he is required to write it down-—and your reaction to it.
Murray made no records of administering dangerous powerful drugs to Jackson.
He had no emergency equipment available.
When Michael was dying, Murray was doing CPR on a bed——should be done on a hard surface.
But Michael had a heartbeat and a pulse-—he was having a breathing problem-—seems Murray did not know the difference.
When Michael was finally brought to a hospital, Murray hid from emergency room physicians that he had given MJ dangerous drugs——like Propofol.
Or that arrogant dyke ambulance chaser?
Bottom line is that every doctor who was called to testify said it was “unheard of” and “disturbing” that a doctor would administer Propofol in a private home......... as a sleep aid.
