You’ve identified the communists’ game plan, inadvertantly.
They WANT there to be mass chaos and violence.
They WANT the locals to not be able to handle the situation.
They WANT ordinary folks to want the government to make the violence stop.
Then they step in with the left’s version of the “Patriot Act”, which everyone should have known would be instantly, as soon as the left gained power, applied not to the enemies of America as the Bush admin used it, but to American citizens who oppose the communists.
Exactly according to (Fox/Piven) plan...
They (the left) already have abundant legal means to take over and persecute the opposition, and they probably will. They’re building the climate for it and trying to provoke an incident that will allow Obama to invoke extraordinary powers.
The call for law and order has got to be that the OWS thugs are to be subject to exactly the same laws as those governing any protest, that the police should arrest them the way they would arrest any group (such as the way they eagerly arrest elderly priests praying during anti-abortion walks), that civil servants should not be given the day off by city governments to participate in the harrassment of citizens, and that labor unions, as non-profits, should be prohibited from engaging in this type of activity.
This is going to be such a fun election cycle...I can already tell.../sarc
