Republican 2012 presidential candidates Republican 2012 presidential candidates Herman Cain and Newt Gingrich met in a Lincoln-Douglas style debate on current economic and social issues facing the U.S.
I’ll take this up in Freeprmail. I’m not interested in helping you disrupt this thread
To me it looks like he is deferring, because when he goes on to give his opinion on it which does not necessarily match Newt’s, so it is clear he knows what he is talking about.
Yes...but he’s firm this will be done within 24 hours of his accepting the Presidency...that’s fast...and more will follow.
NO WAY!
Stop that right now!
Hey South 40 nice to hear from you!
I certainly hope so. They'd make a good team. The mutual respect is obvious.
Newt would make a great VP.
You want the idea man, the back room guy, the guy who can get things done because he’s been there, the LBJ for lack of a better word.
Cain is the Kennedy. He has the principles, the leadership, he knows the direction and he has the character to make it stick. He can get the best person in the best spots.
They complement each other well, but you want Cain as president, and Newt as VP.
It’s basically a suburb (to the north) of Houston. I-45N.
From the beginning, thought Newt was the only one who could best Obama in debates and if one can’t do that, Obama wins.
My opinion the crowd is connecting with Newt. Many seem to have a tingle up their leg if you know what I mean. Lol
Spoken like a MSM reporter.
“Newt explaining Chilean retirement model amasses capital available for economic growth. He and Cain see value in the Chilean model for different reasons.
Cain says corporate model for defined benefit accounts, where company and employee contributes, and employee chooses distribution of benefits.”
They are talking about two different things: Newt is talking about current obligations (the “Trust” fund) and Cain is talking about future investment. They are not in disagreement (but I’m not sure Cain realizes that).
Very well said.
Thanks for the explanation, Hank.
Sounds like production organization from an engineering viewpoint. Eliminate wasted motion and unproductive activities that don’t contribute to delivering exchangeable goods or services to the client. I can think with that.
Much appreciated.
go away perrywinkle
It’s down by Houston. It’s a ritzy suburb.
ONYX— BEST FREEPER EVER! ;)
Isn’t that the truth. If we have one FREEPER here that is close to “Jesus” in attitude and living life, it is Onyx. We would be a sorry site without her.
Obama has his abysmal record to defend. Debates won’t be easy for him.
