They're both from the same state (Georgia), so they couldn't be on the same ticket as per Amendment XII.
Gingrich is from Virginia.

Cain and Newt vs the evil feedback demon is a good way to sum up this debate so far. Newt is using a hand held Mic - Herman has a lapel microphone. Poor calibration.

Cain is baffled, he punts. “You go first Newt.”
You go to the top of the ticket, too, Newt.

oops...Cain missed the CEo question...no detail...basically for Ceo’s to rally...but not what...then went on a cheerleader binge...looked like Newt was waiting for an answer that didn’t happen...me too

Betcha, too. We will all come out winners for this exercise, so kudo’s to both candidates.
I missed the first half hour. Why is Cain ‘wired’ and Newt holding the mic? Did anyone explain that?

They are both speaking well, I’m really enjoying this debate.
Who ever is doing the sound is terrible, it’s not synced. Anyone who can read lips will notice this.
It has a sort of fireside chat, I feel like I’m sitting my my radio listening to the pops and squeaks of it trying to hear out Cain and Newt hammer away at O-care.

We apologize again for the fault in the audio. Those responsible for sacking the people who have just been sacked have been sacked.

We apologize for the fault in the audio. Those responsible have been sacked.
We apologize for the continued faults in the audio. Those responsible for sacking the first group of people have now been sacked.

Newt contrasts he and Cain, after Cain asks for his perspective having been in DC and now out of the bubble.. Says Cain was in private sector then drawn into government service. Newt was the reverse.
Newt notes Cain has to serve the customer to stay in business on a daily basis.
Newt convinced best practices in real world can be brought into governemnt to revolutionize it.

It depends upon what you think this meeting is for... finding solutions, or besting the other. Hence, you either see Cain as a dope for the handoff, or thoughtful for deferring.

you’re absolutely right, both are doing great. There’s not going to be a winner between these two, we’re going to be the winners with these two.
To: eyedigress
These two are helping one another in this “debate”. Not a debate, more of an infomercial for voters to understand why we need to send OBAMA into retirement, along with his socialist cronies in Congress.

You go to the top of the ticket, too, Newt. Newt is the detail man, Hermain is the vision caster.
