Heads up all ye who want change from another Obama term in 2012. Theres only one man for that job: Rick Perry. Voters said so in Wisconsin.
Perry topped Obama 46% to 42% in a Rasmussen poll. Should Obama run against Mitt Romney, Obama would win 45% to 41%. Should Obama run against Herman Cain, Obama would win 47% to 41%. The poll makes a case for Perry if Americans really want to see Obama out.
The Rasmussen poll surveyed 500 Wisconsin voters by phone, not a sampling of voters nationwide. But the trendline is up for Perry and a bellwether as the GOP candidate who can take it away next November.
The rest of the GOP field is losing its glitter. Meanwhile, Perry continues his ascent toward the top; this, amid purported poor performances at debate. Whats going on with that?

Dear Texas:
Don’t let the door hit ya where the good Lord split ya!
The 56 Other States
On another note, after the Swooners get through with A&M today, they’re gonna wish they’d never left College Station.
I guess you don’t know what the term means.
I’ll have to look into that. It’s the first I’ve heard of it, frankly... Thanks.
I dont base my opinions on FR by going crazy as you put it. Quite objectively speaking, Perry is a very bad choice for the GOP. Only if you want wide open borders and U.S. paid health care in Mexico is Perry a good choice.
If you do get into the fencin’ off and all, I hope you’ll at least consider allowing Oklahoma to join up with you. Except for the liberals near Tulsa, of course—then again, Texas has Austin to deal with...
All I know is many here are quick to smear Perry without looking at the issues.
The Border is a prime example.
People want an electric fence that “will kill you”, but that is fantasy.
And it is a fantasy that you don’t want if it is in your yard and it is your land and your children, your family and livelihood cut off from water.
Since you seem to be ignorant of the facts, apparently you do.
Everyone knows those Wisconsin voters are kind of loopy.
Look who they elected as their governor.
;^)
EWWWW! ThinkProgress.org??? Really? Is linking to them even allowed here?
And, the 1st and 3rd President of Texas.
He had a colorful life, that many here would piss on, but he achieved great things.
I agree. He’s the only one contending for the nomination that has first-hand experience with the problems of securing the border and dealing with the Feds refusal to do their duty.
>>> Perry is on the comeback. It will drive his detractors and FR crazy!
In some notable cases that doesn’t need a drive. Only a short putt.
haha! Or a stick. Like sticking a stick in a pile of. Well. You know.
He is the only one running for the presidency that is actually engaged in fighting the Fed on the border and on the EPA.
We are embroiled in a legal battle at this moment because Perry redistricted voting precincts in a way that is favorable to conservatives.
Holder is suing us saying it disenfranchises minorities.
Perry spearheaded and passed Voter ID
In some notable cases that doesnt need a drive. Only a short putt.
I'm not saying anything. Nope. I'm just reposting. But I'm not saying anything. Nope. Not at all. Nothing. Zip. Nada. Nein.
Nein. Nein.
You’re not too full of yourself, are you? LOL!!
No I am not. Are you?
The reason Cain has ‘backpeddled’ his “electric fence! Electrocute all the Mexicans” dumbass position is because Cain was wrong on that issue.
He is a smart, cunning CEO type and he looked around and discovered that Perry was actually RIGHT on the issue. So, Cain adopts Perry’s position on illegal immigration!
And the CainBots rejoiced.
Dinner at 11.
There’s only so much Texas bragging I can take in one day.
By the way, your candidate is a moron.
