Heads up all ye who want change from another Obama term in 2012. Theres only one man for that job: Rick Perry. Voters said so in Wisconsin.
Perry topped Obama 46% to 42% in a Rasmussen poll. Should Obama run against Mitt Romney, Obama would win 45% to 41%. Should Obama run against Herman Cain, Obama would win 47% to 41%. The poll makes a case for Perry if Americans really want to see Obama out.
The Rasmussen poll surveyed 500 Wisconsin voters by phone, not a sampling of voters nationwide. But the trendline is up for Perry and a bellwether as the GOP candidate who can take it away next November.
The rest of the GOP field is losing its glitter. Meanwhile, Perry continues his ascent toward the top; this, amid purported poor performances at debate. Whats going on with that?

I think many Republicans and even conservatives would put aside his immigration positions when comparing him to the awful Romney if it weren’t true.
His handlers were able to hide it in TX where he only had eight debates total his entire career.
Can’t do it when running for POTUS though. Different level of scrutiny by far.
People picture him debating the O and start feeling sick.
He’s toast.
I’m not much in favor of vaccines, especially if they only protect against PART of a disease. Once I see a fence along the southern border, and hear that Perry isn’t giving breaks to illegal immigrants I MIGHT be willing to listen. (And that’s just ONE issue I have with him, personally).
Also, it’s not that great of an idea to bring up illnesses and vaccines when you’re talking about Perry... That’s another HUGE problem I have with Perry, but I don’t think you meant to bring that up, so I won’t go any further on that point.
Ha! That was funny but sometimes you never know. If Al Gore had won TN he would have been President in 2000. (I love that about Tennessee)
Hey Pal, Texas used to be Mexico.
It was Texans that took the territory.
You dont want us? Fine.
But you should kiss our *** for what we have given to the USA.
Perry is up to 7% or so in Iowa, up from 5. Can't hold that brother back!
“Beg to differ. Perry will get slaughtered by Obama in the debates”
One on one Perry is fine. Hillary Clinton made mincemeat out of Obama. In a debate you hear alot of uhhh....ohhh...ahhh.
Never understood why anyone would think Obama is a great debater. He half-way looked OK against McCain because McCain came across as an angry old man. Obama can not think on his feet. If he could there would be no need for the teleprompter 24/7. He’s a good reader. Ever seen him when the teleprompter malfunctions? He sounds like a gangbanger who barely got through high school. He’s all smoke and mirrors.
No, I didn’t mean to. But I can explain the Gardasil story if anybody’s really interested in what went down there.
Cain has back pedaled so far on the fence that now his official position on the matter mirrors Perry’s.
What’s up with that?
Why are you so anxious to give it back ?
We aren’t.
We are dealing with federal restrictions and international treaties.
Try to keep up.
Read up about the battle of San Jacinto.
I don’t need a lecture from dingbats who believe in the divinity of RINO buffoons.
We are not the enemy.
What ever.
I think that Perry has won the border security argument.
I don’t know about that, but he is sincere and understands the issues.
Seriously?????? Wisconsin was the original epicenter of the battle between the OWS mentality goons vs the Tea Party types. The only reason we've dropped off the radar is thus far the TP has prevailed here.
I’m convinced those opposed to Perry at all costs are zero supporters. Nothing else explains it.
Taking polls as gospel this far out and the nananana I don’t hear you attitude is a signature of juvenile political acumen at best and Obamalovin’ at worst.
