Rick Perry beats Obama in Rasmussen Wisconsin poll
Examiner ^ | November 4, 2011 | Lorraine Yapps Cohen

Heads up all ye who want change from another Obama term in 2012. There’s only one man for that job: Rick Perry. Voters said so in Wisconsin.

Perry topped Obama 46% to 42% in a Rasmussen poll. Should Obama run against Mitt Romney, Obama would win 45% to 41%. Should Obama run against Herman Cain, Obama would win 47% to 41%. The poll makes a case for Perry if Americans really want to see Obama out.

The Rasmussen poll surveyed 500 Wisconsin voters by phone, not a sampling of voters nationwide. But the trendline is up for Perry and a bellwether as the GOP candidate who can ‘take it away’ next November.

The rest of the GOP field is losing its glitter. Meanwhile, Perry continues his ascent toward the top; this, amid purported poor performances at debate. What’s going on with that?

Now Cain wants to give more power to the States over mandates.
Damn, why couldn’t Perry have thought of that?

Another idiot goes after the home state of anyone who disses Perry.

I guess Miss Marmelstien is the Governor of New York just like me, Billy, and Dengar are the Governors of Illinois, eh? ;)

I’ve been complaining about Perry supporters attacking other states for weeks now. They immediately go to your home page, find out what state you’re from, and then attack, attack, attack. For people who love Texas so much, they show a certain amount of insecurity.

That's a classic syndrome of those who have been conned---they continue to defend the con artist. It's always somebody else's fault, never the con man.

Perry inflicts massive damage on everything he comes in contact with. Perry's made a huge mistake entering the 2012 race.......it exposes him for what he is. True believers are finding it hard to swallow.

And since Illinois freepers are somehow responsible for Obama becoming President ("shut up! you gave us Obama"), the Presidency of Lyndon Baines Johnson is squarely at the feet of Texas freepers. The rest of America can thank them for Goldwater's loss. All the way with LBJ! Yee-haw! ;-)

Yup! He is not running for President of Texas. Something his most fervent admirers neither understand or care about.
What? You mean there's other places in the USA besides Texas? Coulda fooled me by all the (old) comments like ..
Perry will be our candidate -- deal with it!
Odd thing. Of late I don't see those types of posts as much.

As to LaRaza Rick and 'Tacky'. His actions speak volumes. No comment req'd.

The Texas jingoism is embarrassing. At least I’ve found out where not to spend my tourist dollars in the future.

Oh, so I’m just supposed to ignore the dirtbag Perry’s attempted lynching of Mr. Cain?

I missed that...what are you talking about?

IMO its much worse than plain ole 'jingoism'. It was downright arrogance and ignorance that was displayed. And I *used to* like Texas. It was one state on my 'move to places' (or, escape from IL places), along with Montana and Wyoming.

Not any longer. Texas won't see a Dime from me. Which stinks for me as I need a new Stetson.
[mine is 'broken in' (sweaty, dusty and fits perfect. I need a new 'Clean One' for goin' out occasions ;-)]

Thanks for bringing up the infamous LBJ Presidency.

It’s downright disgusting what Texans will do to get power.

LBJ was so hated, he chose not to run again.

The rest of America can thank Texas for LBJ.....another flopola, incoherent Texan.

Maybe you can borrow Herman Cain’s cowboy hat!

Yes, this Perry thing has been a real lesson to me in Texas weirdness. I’m probably here to stay in my state (family ties, et al) but I doubt my vacation dollars will be spent in the Lone Star state.

Oh yeah, I know my hat size (7¼) and I do buy them and my Tony Lama Boots (10½ D) on the internet (from a store in Wichita, Kansas - Sheplers.com). Going where they're sold in Chicago isn't exactly safe for 'Gringos' if unarmed.

But Stetson's are made in Texas and that's it. There are other brands made in other states but they don't have the models & colors I like that Stetson does (plus the quality).

So I may just have to swallow my pride on Stetson. After all, it's not their fault 'we' have a few egomaniac buffoons posting nonsense about their demigod, LaRaza Ricky.

I do like the style of his hat.
It's like a combo of 'cowboy-fedora' (Federa's are making a coming back).
His is not exactly 'Western' and not exactly 'Indiana Jones'.
In any case, IMO it looks good on him.

Yeah.... Stetson didn’t give in-state tuition to illegal immigrants : )
