Perry, Romney, and Cain polling as the GOP candidates who can beat Obama in the swing states.

Yep, Governor Perry is on the rise!
I’d bet this correlates with WI’s new concealed carry law. Perry had several flaws but is still the strongest candidate on the Second Amendment.
It’s a Perry quote...hard for me to re-phrase.
Interesting. Wisconsin is Mark Block’s home state. He’s well known in the political arena there.
Perry likes to look like the underdog...that is how he campaigns....and he always wins.
This is going to be a close election.
Obama’s in trouble in Florida, North Carolina, Virginia, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. He carried all these states last time.
Haven’t done the electoral vote count, but if he loses all these states, he might be finished off right there, not being able to get to 270 electoral votes. Yes, Obama will carry Mass., NY, Calif., Illinois, etc. But many more states will be competitive this time, which will stretch the resources of the Obama campaign.
And don’t forget Senate races in 2012. Many more Dems. are up for re-election in 2012 than Republicans. The GOP will probably take the Senate, even if Obama wins a narrow re-election. And if he does win, it will be a very close election.
There’s no chance of the solid electoral vote victory for Obama in 2012 as he had in 2008. There will be no victory speech in Chicago right after the polls close in California as happened in 2008. It will be a long election night before Obama could claim victory in 2012, if he can claim victory.
Well, the more I see of the other candidates, including but not limited to Cain, the better I like Perry. Wouldn’t surprise me if lots of other people feel the same.
Where did these voters live? Madison or Milwaukee???
A survey of 500 people out of 5.6 MILLION in the state, and you’re going to really take stock in this poll?
I heard that a recent poll found that a penguin running with a polar bear as his VP would beat Obama.
And it is doubtful that either one of them is a Natural Born Citizen.
An interesting turn of opinion.
For all of the sniping and smearing along with fumbles by the man himself, he is the man with the resume and record.
Cain will rise as he becomes more well known.
Perry just had a drunken slurred speech in NH.
Perry will get slaughtered by Obama in the debates.Absolutely. It is my first and only reason for switching away from Perry, who I initially supported.
Obama talks out his azz without a teleprompter.
Folks just hate Texans.
Wisconsin has the most inflamed case of Tea Party fever of any state. They were given the opportunity to roll back the rats, and are taking solid advantage of it at every level.
It’s natural they’d support Perry, who knows how to de-rat a state better and faster than anybody, maybe ever.
I await Mr Cains apology over the Naggerhead comment as well as the accusation that Perry was responsible for all these women accusing Cain of wrong doing.
Comback my rear, http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2012/president/president_obama_vs_republican_candidates.html
Come back? His poll numbers continue to dive. The more he opens his mouth, via campaign stump speech or debate, the more he shoots himself in the foot.
nice smear.
[Being a Devil’s advocate for a moment... I believe in God, and I think I understand what he’s trying to say, but the liberals will have a field day with that quote, kind of like what follows below...]
So, by that quote am I to assume that Perry would hand over the responsibility to God, and do nothing? Is he in direct contact with God? Will He get the VP nomination? If things go wrong is Perry going to blame God?
< /Devil’s advocate>
Honestly, that’s a really bad quote to push, IMHO. Surely, you’ve got something better from him. Yes, I support Cain, but this particular post is NOT meant as a slam even if it sounds like it... I am capable of being objective, and in my objective opinion (ignoring my personal dislike for Perry) it’s just not something that will win him more support, IMHO.
