WOW
He is such a bad person.
Did he ask her to be a human humidor? For his cigar?
Did he stain her dress?
Did he rape her and hit her and tell her to put ice on it?
Did he grope her right after the death of her husband?
Did he lie in court and get charged with perjury?
Did he soil the sink in his office?
Did he get a BJ under his desk while on the phone deploying troops?
HE IS SO BAD - - NOT

Another steamin' pile.

Of course, those who complain about humor in the workplace, or see a sex pervert behind every tree, are not well-recieved for fear of Lawsuits....it happens in EVERY company.

Women who think they can come to work to find harassment, and not be avoided by others, now can say "a hostile work environment"....

It's sad, this is what workplaces become when Lawyers and pseudo-"Offended" Claims are made.

A bunch of people, because Cain is not the type to keep the missus home all the time, who are bound to know his wife.

If there anything like the employee parties I've been to there was probably a lot of salty talk going on, and a lot of it coming from women. At least was like that when I was going to office parties. Now? Who knows. Depends on the company, I guess.

But the point is, if he did do something like that, and if he was serious about it, there would be no hiding it and the payoff would not be a paltry 35,000 severance pay. Lawyers would have been circling that gal, dreaming about six figure contingency payouts.

But back on the subject of witnesses, there has been (I saw it this morning) a witness to that party (a Republican so the MSM will ignore him), who said he was there and saw nothing out of line or out of the ordinary.

I think I trust him more.

Hmmm. The “workplace turned hostile”.

Well, once you demonstrate that you are the type of person who would turn innocent activity into a lawsuit, who the heck would want to have anything to do with you?

“complained that the workplace turned hostile after she alleged that he made advances toward her during a work-related outing, several people familiar with her account at the time said in interviews. “

Maybe her coworkers didn’t like LIARS.

How about the Perry camp quit spreading the smear about his “lashing out at others”

How about they address the fact that the Perry Arizona State Coordinator was tweeting about the smear before the story broke in Politico??

How about they address the fact that the very 1st “independent” source to rush to the media and add more hearsay to the accusation was Perry's pollster Wilson?

Rather then continue to dream up new smears to direct at Cain, how about the Perry camp address their campaigns actions in helping spread the original smear?

Any sentence that starts, “Woman said to have felt ...” really doesn’t need to go on.

Eve. If true, SO? We don’t have a perfect candidate. We have to take the guy we have. So let’s stop worrying about what happened in a restaurant a decade ago. It isn’t ideal but there aren’t any choirboys running. Put down your hand, mitt.

You know what else is a hostile work environment? Going back to the office after you sleep with the boss and everyone knows it. Not saying that happened, but I’m sure walking around with everyone snickering behind you can’t be fun...

I’m sorry but with the first drink all bets are off. It is not a “work place” sexual harassment event at all.

You go drinking with the crew then be prepared for things to get out of hand.

Was the woman attempting to advance her career.

There are a number of female physicians who got past admissions committees on their back.

They are SO desperate. This concerns them to no end. You have the prime reason WHY.

There are others into that. I found myself pinned against the wall by John Dean's wife at a party way back years ago ~ before Watergate!

She was entirely too aggressive. Lord only knows what John was up to.

My guess is that this woman tends to end up feeling a lot of hostility wherever she goes. I’d be interested to see the pattern of her workplace history. I’m willing to bet she’s a serial offendee / professional victim.

According to the NYT's:

The advances were said to have taken place during a festive night in which Mr. Cain and several younger staff members drank until late in the evening, and his flirty banter with the woman crossed over into propositions that she leave with him, these people said, speaking in separate interviews and on the condition of anonymity.

One person with direct knowledge of her account at the time said that the woman — roughly two decades Mr. Cain’s junior and serving in a lower-level job — rebuffed him but that he continued to make advances. “She was uncomfortable, and it was inappropriate from the start,” this person said. “He was persistent

She rebuffed him. No where does it say she went home with him. But according to PJM:

According to the female source, Mr. Cain and the woman had been with a large group for a long evening of food and drink at the Ciao Baby Cucina, a restaurant near NRA headquarters in downtown Washington, D.C. This was a normal routine, as the trade association worked with the food and beverage industry. Afterwards, Mr. Cain allegedly took the woman by taxi to his apartment, where she spent the night and woke up.

Since this has not had the desired affect, someone wants the word "rape" to be part of the story.

I agree with you:

Socializing off the premises is not work-related.

Drinking alcohol is not in the job description.

It takes at least two people to participate in conversations that are personal, off-color and inappropriate. If you have nothing to say and don’t want to listen - LEAVE!

I’m beginning to believe she thought she had a shot at the boss and he turned her down. That would be the humiliation!
