On the link is the New's "PollGOP pretenders"
D you believe any of the GOP presidential candidates can unseat President Obama?
Yes. Obama is vulnerable, and some of the Republicans have shown potential.
No. The GOP candidates are, for the most part, laughable.

More completely stupid commentary from people who are so mentally handicapped they cannot even find a real job and so end up as newspaper columnists.

More completely stupid commentary from people who are so mentally handicapped they cannot even find a real job and so end up as newspaper columnists. Lupixie ended up as a sportswriter. It just so happened that he couldn't write a Knicks column without mentioning Sarah Palin or Dick Cheney, so the News decided to share his stupidity with the rest of the paper. In this episode, Obama is a shoe-in because Democrats prefer Hillary Clinton.

Lupica always employs sarcasm thinking it wit. When he turns around and everyone in the room is nodding approval he thinks he’s just gotten off a corker. What a bore.

Which is next-to-nothing...

Say... can I have some butter with that? The reason that I say that is because most of the gop leaders seem to want to lose. Their actions scream loser.

Sorry... I am just extremely mad and disappointed that such an historic chance to actually save this once great republic and kick the crap out of the progressive movement has been so totally wasted due to progressive liars running and ruining the republican party and what could be our last real chance to stop the march of communism inside the USA and an eventual one world government... and what I said was true... barring a miracle... obama could very well defeat any challenger because of a repeat of what Reagan warned of in his 1975 CPAC speech. If I ruffle some feathers here on FR... good... because disaster awaits us if we stay on the present course. I see no real Captain grabbing the helm and sailing us through these monster filled waters. I am not certain that any of the present candidates even knows what a helm is.

Baraq was a 53 percenter against McLame.
He’ll be a 42 percenter in 2012.
Enough for a landslide loss in a 2-way
or a Clintonian plurality win in a way

Let’s try this another way: At the moment I see the only man in position to avoid the disaster you speak of as Newt Gingrich. No, I don’t agree with everything he says, and his personal life is a disaster. But he is best qualified among the current group of losers to fix the economy, restore or place in the world, solve the dysfunction in congress, and kick Obama’s ass in a debate. Unfortunately, if you mention Newt’s name on this debate you get attacked, but until a better choice presents itself, he’s my guy. If I could place a current candidate in the White House, it would be Rick Santorum, but I’m not delusional.

I wonder if the 0 really intends to run again— and if he does I wonder if his Pinko Fag Party will nominate him. My gut says they will put up Hillary —or anybody but the 0—but who am I to say? Best hope for the Republicans is to choose someone who knows who they are—and our American system of Government well enough to debate any Jack -or Jenny.

Newt Gingrich was the keynote speaker at the first tea party in NYC on April 15, 2009, two blocks from Zucotti Park. I know, because I was there, but his speech was broadcast live on FOX News. If he is the nominee, there will be no viable 3rd party candidacy. He may not thrill everyone, but he will satisfy all constituencies.
