The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey of Likely GOP Primary voters shows Cain with 26% of the vote over former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romneys 23%. Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich draws 14% support, with no other GOP contender reaching double-digits. Thirteen percent (13%) of GOP voters are undecided at this time. Take that dirt bags who dig up "anonymous bums" to dish out lies!!!
Its shaping up to be a three way race. Cain has the base and Romney has the backing of the GOP establishment. Gingrich is a a dark horse contender.
If this became a two man race between Cain and Newt, I’d feel a lot better about our future.

“If this became a two man race between Cain and Newt, Id feel a lot better about our future”
Your dream may come true. Cain and Newt are going to have a very amiable Lincoln Douglas style debate at 8PM Sat night on CSPAN. I think Newt is going to do himself a lot of good. Personally it would not suprise me if Herman and Newt have a deal to work together to kick these others to the curb and then leave themselves as the last two on the Island.
A more ideal arrangement would be to form an overt alliance now with one as the others running mate - I think that would seal the deal. (won’t happen though LOL)
I guess Rove is gonna have to drum up some more accusers by dragging $100 Bills through trailer parks. The so called accusers he has now don’t seem to be blunting Cain’s Big Mo very much.

nah - that’s just optimism. No harm no foul. The only path for Newt is to carve into the conservative base. Romney’s been working for 5 or 6 years to get the rino vote and pretty much has that all locked up. Newt has taken a more or less modified McCain tack, trying to remain above the fray and be the last man standing. It might just work for him, too. (hope not, I like the Herminator!)
Romney is a non issue. Take his % and divide between Newt & Cain.
if Cain starts to fade Newt will be our nominee
To me, this IS a two man race with Cain & Newt. Romney does not factor with me. I will not vote for him.
Prides comes before the fall.
