Those Constables on Patrol may lose their weapons or have them taken from them, so why risk it?
Why shouldn’t we keep those guns off the street?
Obviously Mr Melvin lives in upscale, mostly white neighborhoods. He is a mostly white Negro person who has been able to take advantage of Affirmative Action Programs to advance himself. His children, when they go to school, will not attend the regular school but will attend University Schools or high class private schools.
Maybe some day he will be the second coming of Obama, a continued phase in of people of some color. I would guess he qualifies because he is one more degree of separation of those dark Negros (like Thomas or Cain) who were not invited serve in the Master’s Mansion.
Somebody should ask Craig Melvin if he carries car insurance. After all, it’s law enforcement’s job to prevent auto accidents, isn’t that sufficient?
Here is the reason. A police officer will tell you his/her job is to enforce the - NOT TO PROTECT YOU INDIVIDUALLY.
It is your responsibility to defend yourself.

In my opinion if you are a true victim; attacked, robbed, or beaten pull out your hardware, shoot to kill, and get out of there as fast as you can. Never turn yourself in because the liberals will victimize you far worse than your assailant would have done.
Because a cop is less reliable than a gun and I would not trust one enough to carry them around in a holster.

However, cops are just that... cops.
They take their orders from the government.
And, if the government is corrupt (local/state/fed) and
issues unconstitutional orders to the cops against the citizens, the citizens are within their constitutional rights to defend themselves.

Well, for one thing, it’s a hell of a lot easier to haul a gun around than a cop...and guns don’t eat all my doughnuts.
You could even argue that the Second Amendment REQUIRES adult citizens to keep and bear arms so that in an emergency they can assemble as the militia in short order, fully equipped and ready to go.
