Karl Rove said Monday that Herman Cain has failed to properly respond to the POLITICO report that at least two women accused him of inappropriate behavior, saying he needs to say yes or no.
Hes not denying, but he aint responding and thats not the best place to be, Rove said on Fox News. If these allegations are not true, say they arent true and put it behind you. If not, better get everything out sooner rather than later because in a situation like this, if there is something there, that somethings going to come out. Continue Reading Text Size

Asked whether he considered the Cain campaigns response to the allegations as sufficient, the former George W. Bush strategist answered no, criticizing the decision to evade questions about whether there were ever any financial settlements with the women.
I think Geraldo had it right last night you simply cant say go talk to the National Restaurant Association and refuse to answer the question, Were there any monetary settlements involved in these things.....
Rove added, You cant simply say go ask, go talk to somebody else. You either need to say yes or no. And if no, say no immediately. Say absolutely or not and get on with it. But if youre sitting there saying go talk to somebody else, its not going to help you.

Karl Marx Rove, Romney supporter.
All of this has me thinking about this video taped off of Fox last Sunday. The video starts with Wallace and Hume writing off Cain. Then there was this statement from Chris Wallace (scrubbed from the original) at the 3:25 mark:
Chris Wallace: “Let’s tell a dirty little secret which is that we, because we don’t want this to be an Obama-Romney race next year, want to see a Republican primary race. And I get the sense, Kim, that you’re suggesting that there is going to be an effort, either on his part or our part to kind of resuscitate Rick Perry.”

good one!
Rove, you piece of crap. The fact you are ignoring his denial makes me suspect your involvement.
I am getting rather sick of Rove acting like some “impartial” political bystander. He is someone’s attack dog right now.
Karl Rove hasn't changed since he entered politics. In the very first campaign he worked on, Rove stole some of the opposition's stationery and forged letters making the opponent look bad.
Rove always has been a corrupt, unethical, dishonest slimeball. You just liked him when he was being a corrupt, unethical, dishonest slimeball for Bush43.
Just think this a$$hole was advising Bush. No wonder why we have so many problems with Leftist.
With Republicans like Rove, who has time for enemies?
What a back stabbing jerk!
Rove is giving Cain the O’donnell treatment. Rove needs to stuff it.
I’m glad to say I never liked or trusted the pasty, snotty arrogance of Karl Rove, even back in the heady “magnificent bastard” Bush days when people right here were swooning over him.
He has no credibility outside the media beltway bell jar. Work for Romney? Hell yes, why not, nobody else wanted to pick up his option. Outside of Fox pity bits, he's been basically on the street since he sank the good ship Dubya.
The whole “scandal” is a straw man that can easily be disproved. Mr. Cain is as straight an arrow as a man can be. I see only positives for him in this. It will get Mr. Cain a whole lot of more free air time on just about every network. And people are going to tune in and listen to him because it is about sex. His numbers are going to just keep getting stronger.
As usual, Greta did have a good interview with Cain, but I wish I had $1 for every time he said “I can’t recall.”
My goodness, the GOP Establishment Elites have gotten their panties in a twist over Palin/Cain/Tea Party folks.
I tried karlrove@foxnews.com but it failed. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,77538,00.html
Yep, HC was the top of the news lineup most of the day, was the topic for most of both Rush, Ingraham, and Hannity, and was the main topic on at least three of my CA shows. Cain’s campaign says their rate of donations has doubled today.
Just wait until someone tattles on the campaign that perpetrated this smear.
I’m pretty sure these quotes are all from before Cain responded today.
The more the Roves of the world reveal their character, the more people will be drawn to the anti-establishment candidate. Rove can keep talking all he wants - every word will drive sane people farther from him and into the camp of somebody like Cain.
The more I see of the lies about Cain, the more I despise Romney - if only because he attracts followers who have no integrity. The lies will only backfire, as they are doing now.
