If this attack did come from Rove or Perry supporters it was a huge mistake. Mr. Cain needs to stay in the spotlight to increase his name recognition. People in general have a short attention span for everything but sex. People only want to hear so much from Mr. Cain about the 999 plan, abortion, or foreign policy. He now has a whole new subject to talk about and look like he is the victim of some heinous smear campaign. This one probably got the attention of a bunch of people who still didn't even know who he was.
The whole “scandal” is a straw man that can easily be disproved. Mr. Cain is as straight an arrow as a man can be. I see only positives for him in this. It will get Mr. Cain a whole lot of more free air time on just about every network. And people are going to tune in and listen to him because it is about sex. His numbers are going to just keep getting stronger.

Yep, HC was the top of the news lineup most of the day, was the topic for most of both Rush, Ingraham, and Hannity, and was the main topic on at least three of my CA shows. Cain’s campaign says their rate of donations has doubled today.
Just wait until someone tattles on the campaign that perpetrated this smear.
