Serious thought needs to be put into organizing this third party if it is seriously believed that Mitt will get the GOP nod. I personally believe Mitt will markedly underwhelm the primary voters, but it’s also possible that Cain may only get a plurality. What follows then at the GOP convention? Everybody do a revote hoping for a majority?

Anyhow, if a third party cannot at the least equal the vote getting power of Obama in 2012, it’s going to be a spoiler, counterproductive. The only way I could see to swing it would be to get Sarah Palin herself to be that candidate.

______________________________________________

A redo of 1964 when Mitts Dad George Romney only got 40 votes to Goldwaters 800...

Cain will smash Romney at the convention...

remember many delegates are grassroots...

and then probably a redo of what happened next

George stomped out of the convemntion w2ith young impressionable Willie mitty in tow...

George then worked AGAINST the GOP nominee Goldwater andf helped Johnson get elected...

Willie Mitty has already gone way down that road already trying to cut Herman Cains throat...

But unlike 1964 when George was a big man on campus and had power and influence, sonny boy Willie Mitty has burnt a lot of bridges...

When and if Herman Cain gets the nomination I think too many will get behind him for this Romney to do much harm...

Whereas there was no Internet or FaceBook to get out the truth in 1964, today’s Romney cant lie and make it stick without being exposed as a trouble maker and an enemy of the Republican party...

and where Ronald Reagan said later that it was George romney and his moderates who had caused the republicans to lose in 1964...

the more liberal Williard Mitt Romney wont get a chance to do the same in 2012...

the outcome in 2012 will not be a redo of the disastor of 1964 even though we have a Romney running again...
