I may get flamed as well but during many, many years in the workplace I was never sexually harassed. And I was cute, if I do say so.

I think men have an instinct that tells them when a woman won’t put up with that crap and they leave those women alone.

First, apologies on the gender mixup. Second, I'm confused, are we talking about Perry supporters or Cain supporters being jerks? I support Perry and have been told to go hump Obama, called a Dem operative, etc. I've seen one Cain supporter claim a Perry supporter was smearing Cain by posting a link to Meet the Press. I'm all too familiar with certain posters', shall we say, mindless repeating of the same tired old lines in any discussion of Cain's weaknesses.

Given that the settlement was in "5 figures" ($10K? 20K?) this was probably promptly sent to the legal department with instructions to "take care of it", and they did without having to bother Cain again. There was a woman I used to work with, she’d have “lingerie parties”, she’d bring lingerie to work to show off the wares (just on her desk, not on her body), finally they let her go but she made many of the men uncomfortable - man had done that....he’d been in big trouble.

There are plenty of women who make suggestive remarks and get away with it whereas men would have been held to task.

And all a woman has to do is suggest there was sexual inappropriateness and she either gets paid off or the guy gets fired. He rarely has a chance to give his side of the story.

I’ve not seen any Cain supporters who are “jerks”, however I have seen scores of Perry supporters who most certainly are. A fellow FReeper has been keeping track of their hysterics and lies they have engaged in from the get-go (before their candidate plunged to irrelevant in the polls). It’s hard to top crap like, “You oppose Perry because you want girls to die from cancer... or: You oppose Perry because you’re a racist (who opposes Hispanics).” Same type of garbage and hysteria that was spewed by the Slick Willardbots 4 years ago when one deranged and demented nutter accused me and another poster of being homosexual child molestors for opposing his candidacy. Cain supporters don’t act that way.
