Here is an easy listing of probably the most bi-polar politician on the issue you can find.
http://www.issues2000.org/2012/Mitt_Romney_Abortion.htm
..and this is just the abortion issue. People don’t trust Mitt for the basic reason is that he is a typical, slimy politician who will say anything to win over the crowd he is talking to. He makes Bill Clinton seem almost honest. He reminds me of Joe Isuzu.. “Trust Me”.
Which is pretty much everyone except Baraq. Too bad, Newt would be wonderful to watch carving up Zero in a debate.
I used to like Newt and wish I still could, but his falling for the global warming scam tells me he’s not to be trusted.
Mitt Romney is by all counts a kind of nightmare version of
John McCain re-animated. I say nightmare version, because like too many people you’d hope would’ve learned something in the last three years, he still doesn’t know how or why the Tea Party voters exist, or why they MUST be taken seriously. He doesn’t understand that without them he won’t win primaries, and that to millions of voters, it’s instinctively understood that he’s being pushed down our throats, just as all of Obama’s policies have been pushed down our throats for three years. Mittens is clueless and will stay clueless. McCain at least introduced us to Sarah Palin, Romney will introduce us to nothing except the possibility of four more years of Obama. The Tea Party HAS a candidate now, and it seems to be Herman Cain. We’d better decide who we are getting behind soon, and get behind him unreservedly.
There are maybe three legitimate candidates still in contention and Mitt Romney is not one of them.
Romney as the nominee will create nothing but chaos.
Maybe that’s ultimately what the Left has in mind for us
as the easiest way to create civil/class war they can then take advantage of and exploit.THAT way Obama can stay aloof, keep his hands clean, and watch those dangerous Tea Party types live up to all the predictions Janet Napolitano made for them.
.....or Mormonism (^;^)
Ah yes, the peer pressure BS,”... most informed people”. Surely you are perceptive enough to realialize that this type of rhetorical device will never work with FReepers !
So how about a little list like this for bad points:
Glasslooking, charlatan, polygamy, mountains meadows massacre,
“white and delightsome”, Kolob, Sacred garments,Spirit Children, reformed Egyptian, the angel Moron(i).It goes on and on and on.
Frankly most Star Trek episodes were better written than Joseph Smith’s ridiculous opus.
If you are such an adamant Pro-lifer, how can you justify shilling for Pro-abortion Romney? He hasn’t changed his beliefs but only says what is politically expedient. I could not vote for someone who was wishy-washy on this issue, how can you? Is it just not that important enough issue for you?
If Romney wins the nod, will you vote for him, or stay home and let Obama into the WH again?
I’m not dealing with that battle now. This is primary season and the goal is to beat RINOs and get the best candidate possible. When the general election comes around, I will select the best possible path presented in front of me, be it holding my nose, or looking at other options to vote for. I figure, if someone like Romney or Paul gets the nomination, our problems have gotten so bad, it may be finally time to give a third party a nod (albeit, in the past they never presented a good alternative). Getting a RINO to the extreme of one of those two would create a philosophical power vacuum we may actually have an opportunity for a third party that isn’t a freak party.
Actually, it’s nothing like communism.
There are about 6.3 million Mormons in the U.S.(2007) and, of that number, I’d guess less than half are voting age adults. So, even if ALL Mormons voted for Romney the voting block would only be a fraction of the total vote. I don’t see that as a real threat. Thank God.
Good for you. I’ll pass on the vid.
A really free married guy answers only to God and country, and informs the wife.
And then there's Perry.
Cheers!
And it's, like, from another Mormon an' everything, so you can't play the Waaaaahbulance card.
Cheers!
Here's a video you might want to watch, before you spew that deceit on another thread:
In Iowa, the DeMoine Register poll shows Cain and Romney at the top of the heap.
Thank you Saundra. It's been years since I heard a Romneybot spew out that old chestnut. I forgot how amusing it is.
People can change.
Indeed indeed. I think it's just wonderful that Mitt Romney came over to the pro-life side just in time to run for President.
Beck’s great.
‘Cept when he starts with that crying thing which is fine but, he has over played it.
Still, I loved his summer of history. Just terrific.
