Goldie Taylor: Herman Cain’s Alienated So Many Groups, Who’s Left…The Smoker’s Lobby?
http://www.mediaite.com ^ | 4:51 pm, October 28th, 2011 | by James Crugnale

Posted on 10/28/2011 2:40:45 PM PDT by Red Badger

TheGrio’s Goldie Taylor took a swipe at Herman Cain this afternoon on MSNBC’s Martin Bashir for running a divisive campaign and proposing slashing Pell grants to students. “He’s alienated Latinos, he’s alienated African-Americans and he’s alienated every middle income family in this country who relies on Pell grants,” Taylor exclaimed. “Who’s going to be left? The smoker’s lobby?”

Earlier in the program, Taylor said she didn’t even believe Cain was actually running for president, noting he was visiting irrelevant states, and merely was in the race to sell books. “He has no organization. No staff there (in the early states) and no way to turn out voters for caucuses. Those are kinds of things that are just patently missing and he shows up in Tennessee and then Alabama says something about Herman Cain,” Taylor observed. “Either he has an incompetent national staff or he ain’t running. I think it’s the latter.”

Democratic strategist Karen Finney agreed with Taylor that Cain wasn’t serious about getting the Republican nomination. “I think Herman Cain might be coming out with a new show because he’s become the new Donald Trump in the race and it’s hard to take him seriously,” Finney assessed, though she did surmise it might be because he’s raising money. “I think he makes that white Republican base of the party feel okay, feel that they’re not racist because they can like this guy, I think they like him because he’s a black man who knows his place.”

When the total student debt is larger than the total credit card debt, you know the system is broken.

What Cain said was common sense. Get the federal govt out of the student loan business and let it be handled at the state level.

PS

I had a child start college last year. I was amazed at how hard the PUSHED the student loans. Her counselor pushed them in every session.

Finally, she had to sign a document specificly REJECTING the federal student loan money.

That’s right, she didn’t have to accept the money, she had to formally reject it.

Somenthings not right with an assitance program when it’s pushed that hard by the government.

This is just more garbage aimed at the only man standing between Mitt Romney and the Republican nomination.

[Taylor said she didn’t even believe Cain was actually running for president, noting he was visiting irrelevant states, and merely was in the race to sell books.]

G-d d-mn blankety blank Liberal “Flyover Country” attitude. No wonder they want a “popular vote” the POS sods.

[. “I think he makes that white Republican base of the party feel okay, feel that they’re not racist because they can like this guy, I think they like him because he’s a black man who knows his place.” ]

We want him in “his place” his place being the President of these United States. Because we tried a community agitator with no real life business experiance WHATSOEVER!!!! And we found out what we really needs is a business man with a degree in mathmatics to turn this country around and get the economy fixed. I guess all the Republicans inthe 1960’s voted for the civil rights legislation because they didn’t want to feel “racist”.

These “Liberal Plantation Pukes” just make me sick to my stomach, they think that all races are supposed to think a certain way, if not they are “beholden to white man”. By wanting to put everyone in their own “Liberal Box” they are the worst kind of racist, the type that doesn’t outright discriminate but the type that opresses diversity of thought.

Karen is just pissed that he is not another establishment Republican and his staff will be made up from real grassroots Americans unlike Romney or her Boss Obama. The inside the beltway crowd has nothing but hate for real Americans.

Alienating bums isn’t the very worst thing that Cain could do.

“Somenthings not right with an assitance program when it’s pushed that hard by the government.”

They are charging 8% interest for Pete’s Sake! They are taking advantage of our kids!

My daughter had a small student loan in 2005 @ 4% interest, my son took out a $13,000 student loan in 2009 at 8%! We paid our daughters loan off and we will do the same for my son within the next few months.

Plain and simple, The US Dept. of Ed. are loan sharks!

Amazing how much attention he’s being given by people who don’t take him seriously.

Read his book.

He’s serious.

A blogger on the media’s double standards:
http://wakeupblackamerica.blogspot.com/2011/10/martin-bashir-and-goldie-taylor-throw.html

Martin Bashir was right in what he said to a degree. The people Herman Cain needs to win over don’t want to hear from an angry, assertive agrressive black man. It probably never dawned on Martin nor Goldie Taylor that is the reason why Barck Obama was able to have at one time broad based support among white Democratic voters. He didn’t come across as “angry, aggressive and assertive” for a black man. That is why he was called the “magic negro” by David Ehrenstein of the LA Times. Obama succeeded where other Democratic candidates for president like Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Carol Mosley Braun and others failed. They were seen by moderate white Democrats as black militants, so they weren’t taken seriously because of it. I wish I could ask Martin why should a black candidate by angry, aggressive and assertive in the first place. If white candidates for president don’t come off like that, why should black ones? According to the latest Zogby Poll which came out yesterday, Herman Cain has a 20 point lead over Mitt Romney. Cain has accomplished this simply by being himself and sticking to his message and the real issues. The double standard by the left is clearly on display. Obama is considered “cool and calm” by the left, and they like that about him, yet they attack for not being angry, assertive and aggressive. Do these people truly understand how phony they are coming across to the rest of us?

This is an interesting unreported $1,250,000 Services In Kind campaign contribution to the Obama for president campaign. It’s made once again by MSNBC through the Martin Bashir show.

The contribution is the counter camaaign theme “He (Cain) knows his place” Which will be played up particularly in the black communities throughout the US.. Implying Cain who is black is feining a run for president on the Republican party ticket because everybody knows Blacks only vote “democrat” and he’s only there to split off votes from the black community. Because we know Republicans hate blacks.

This theme will be repeated through out the URSIK network ...Of course it’s racist but we know only Republicans are racists.

Yeh....THAT explains why he’s at the top of the polls....he’s alienating everyone.

WTF? Pffft...stupid liberals. Up is down and down is up mentality.

Maybe you were projecting for YOUR guy, Oloser? Could it be HE is the one alienating everyone? Reality seems to think so.

The MSM is very afraid of Cain. A debate will strip the clothes off of Obama.

Obama will look like deer in the headlights of a logging truck with a 70,000 pounds loaded 20 foot high doing 70 MPH down the highway.
