The problem is that there were at least 2 good conservative candidates in the running for months, plus the great Sarah Palin waiting offstage, when Perry looked around and decided that he could climb onto the Tea Party bandwagon by chanting some slogans, and move up another notch (which is what career politicians are always trying to do). Perry muddied the waters and destroyed one of the conservative candidates (Bachman) and maybe discouraged another (Palin). Anyone who did his homework would have realized that Perry would fizzle in the debates. (There were also people who warned us that G.W. Bush was not conservative, but they were ignored, also.) We have the chance, in fact we have the need, to select a true conservative this time around...not just another hack who wants to be POTUS. (I wouldn’t be surprised if Pansey Graham thinks he should be POTUS someday; most Senators do).

I don’t see anyone who definitely gets my vote yet, but I fail to see any “good conservatives”... La Raza Perry isn’t one.
