Campaigning in Ohio today, Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney stopped by a Republican Party phone-bank making calls in support of Gov. John Kasich's government union reform referendum, but refused to endorse the actual referendum. CNN's Peter Hamby called the scene an "incredible moment in politics."

Ill vote for a brick over Obama. It doesn't appear we'll get a candidate with conservative credentials at least as good as a brick's to vote for.
To: brownsfan
That’s why we defeat Romney now. Romney will set back the GOP 20 years if he becomes President.

Ohio is a fundamentally blue collar state, a smart politician will operate with the conditions on the ground.
It can happen in Wisconsin and NOT Ohio? And Wisconsin's reforms went beyond Ohio's.
There has been ZERO ad pushes for YES on 2. Have not seen much anywhere, although I did receive a good flyer in the mail over the weekend. It said something like, "If these guys are against Issue 2 (with pictures of Obama, Biden and maybe one other person), then it may be good to be FOR it."

The union bill is unpopular in OH.Says who? Don't believe these idiotic polls that are mostly focused on Marxist NE Ohio. Here in Central Ohio and in SW Ohio there is overwhelming support for Issue 2.

I’d rather have John Bolton as SOS. I’m not sure where I’d want Newt in the cabinet but I’d love to see him on Cain’s team. Anyone think he’d be a good Chief of Staff, and that he’d take the slot if it were offered?

I will post what I posted MANY times in the 08 election season. I will have a VERY hard time voting for a man from a state whose citizens voted over and over and over for Ted Kennedy and continue to vote for John Kerry.

The liberal media doing the work the GOP elite refuse to do.

You must live in a different Ohio than I do. Central and Southwestern Ohio are not predominantly blue collar. It's the slimy NE sector that houses most of the union thugs. The only real union presence in my area is government employees.
Believe me, Issue 2 support is strong here.

Tons of “Yes” commercials in the Columbus TV market.
