BBC ^ | Saturday, October 22, 2011 | BBC

In his most outspoken comments yet, Mr Ahmadinejad told CNN: "Nobody has the right to kill others, neither the government nor its opponents."

He said Iran would encourage all sides to reach an understanding, but warned the US not to intervene in Syria.

Syria has close ties with Iran, which suppressed its own protests in 2009.

Iran has also put down or prevented about a dozen protests since the wave of anti-government uprisings in the Middle East began earlier this year...

It would be interesting to see Iran and Syria shoot at each other.

Ahmadinejad (aka Ahmanutjob) does not consider his "opposition" as human (ie. others) the Jews to him are Monkeys and the opposition Muslims are dogs. He considers neither of them as humans (others).

All Muslims (and all Commies/Dictators) lie and lying to non-muslims are considered a statement worthy of praise.

What a crock. Iran has no fear of Obama. Obama is helping Iran by clearing the deck for Iran to take over the Middle East.

More irony in the news. Between Occupy Wall Street, Obama, and Muslim leaders, I fear we are suffering from an overdose of irony.

Ahmedeadman is putting into practice something like the old Soviet-style “peace offensive”, basically a PR campaign. And that anti-American partisan media shill Fareed Zacharia worked as an enabler, as always.

> It would be interesting to see Iran and Syria shoot at each other.

In a way, it already has — the Assad regime has been receiving a steady stream of arms and ammo from Iran since the Syrian Spring started. These are the very arms and ammo being used to mow down Syrians 24/7, the mowing down being one off the things Ahmahnutjob is pretending to complain about.

The Saudis and other Gulf States have been indirectly supporting the uprising, and the endgame will probably be a bloodbath in which the Alawites (a branch of Shia Islam) will have to run for it — to Lebanon, Iraq, and maybe Turkey and Jordan — or continue their armed attacks on the Sunnis, or (most likely) both.

When the Muzzies are killing one another, they’re kept busy with that, and don’t much bother the rest of the world. While that goes one, Muzzie terrorists on the fringe of the geographical spread of Islam will be wiped out — in Indian Kashmir, in the Philippines, and certain parts of Africa. That’ll be a shame. /s

Look, just because some women were buried to their waists and then stoned to death by a homicidal mob of people who didn’t even know the victims, as a part of a court verdict, doesn’t mean that the Iranian gov’t has killed anyb- Wait, yes it does...

It looks more like marzipan to me, but it’s definitely cute.

I’ve always wondered — does marzipan come from Mars? I mean, does someone make it in a pan up there?

You're asking me a question?

Wow.

Although I doubt that you don't know this, marzipan is raw, blanched almond paste, egg whites, cream of tartar, and sugar, dusted with confectioners' sugar. It's very easy to mold like modeling clay to make pretty little things like Harriet.

My late father-in-law was nuts about it, and he got some from me and Hubby for Christmas every year. I used to make it myself, and he always insisted that it was so much better than store bought, LOL! He was a really nice man.

Here's a recipe that's close enough: http://candy.about.com/od/nougatmarzipancandy/r/Basicmarzipan.htm
