Love your parens after the lede.

When nature calls, my unspoken phrase is, “I’m going to take a bodacious Obama.”

I imagine James Buchanan is the one he has in mind. I’d say that, just as Obama was gifted with a Nobel Prize based on potential, the communist in our White House is deserving of first place for worst occupier of the White House ever, and not just second place. He hasn’t done as much damage yet as Buchanan did by mishandling the start of the Civil War (in the sense that the massive government expansion and trillions of wasted dollars are still recoverable), but there is a very serious danger that Obama’s ill effects will last longer than the effects of the Civil War.

He’ll probably get a short bounce for snuffing out Khaddafi (singlehandedly /s).

You’re both right, neither was a peach.

Probably the difference as to whether Obama ends up ahead or behind them is whether he’s (gulp) given a second term, considering the harm that’s sure to come from that.

The key point I see in this is the Strongly Approve has now slipped below 20%. I’m not sure if this is the first time for this but it signals that even his most argent support is slipping. That means those who were there are now in the mindset to possibly consider someone else.

Minor blip up to 20% SA yesterday.
Hanging tight on the “floor” of 19%.

President Obama is in some serious trouble based on some polling trends. It looks like he will soon slip below the 50% positive mark of the “Do you expect to see him re-elected?” question.

When that happens, it will be a very quick decline in the polls. People like to be on the winning side, and if he is no longer seen as the winner, many will turn on him for that reason alone.

44% still too high? Get used to it, it is not getting lower. Despite some fluctuations, it has barely moved in 2 years in spite of the poor economy.

My understanding of history says only James Buchanan could exceed Hussein as a worse Oval Office occupier. I am still undecided. Both are horrible executives.

Thing is, Buchanan had some experience—you would THINK he would’ve been at least able to do the job. Hussein, OTOH, is a “post turtle.”. So there is a lot to think about when picking which one sucks the most.

That, plus the weekend, and he may be at -19, or even up to -17, come early next week. The media is playing up the death of Quaducky as if they had nabbed Atilla the Hun.
