I can just see Kadaffi or some other major Islamic being captured and sent to GITMO.

Then we have the bleeding-heart refrains for him/them to be tried in US courts, with the possibility of being released on US soil, if they get a sympathetic judge who finds a technicality.

It is better to keep these types as far away from US soil/containment as possible.

Which Bibi agreed to. I like Netanyahu, but I hope he can sleep at night knowing that many (if not most) of these freed terrorists will be absorbed back into the ranks of Hamas. Is one man (Gilad Shalit) worth the risk of security and lives of the Israeli people? I guess only time will tell.
