We live in a Kardashian nation, but President Barack Obama isn't exactly a fan of reality TV's royal family!
First Lady Michelle Obama tells iVillage that her hubby, 50, doesn't like Sasha, 10, and Malia, 13, keeping up with Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian's antics on the boob tube.

Tahitians and Argentinians?
Sounds like the Obamas are bitter clinging.
The Kardashians won the genital lottery: the daughters were shot out of a famous set of genitals, then reaped further fame and fortune by servicing other famous sets of genitals.
Anything they put out is a political ploy
Right but - how much you wanna bet they walk this back amongst their Hollywood backers in the next day or so?
Just like the fat cats on Wall Street, many of the supporters of the Obummers find that support is only a one way street with them.
Na I just use the Channel Changer and the “Channel Skip” features.
Sister#1 made a sex tape.
Sounds like racism to me.
Obviously Baraq is anti-Armenian.
They owe it all to OJ, LOL.
and
Does nothing for me.
Something I agree with Obama about.
On that one I agree with them. No celebutantes in my house, No Kim, no Snookie, No Housewives, no reality TV. Is it any wonder young people have brains turning to mush with all the crap that constitutes programming these days??
But he lets them watch it anyway?
***”That’s what I was wondering. Does she? (I guess it’s obvious I didn’t go to the link, huh?)
My question too.
“But he lets them watch it anyway?”
The article is vague, yet it appears that Michelle allows the daughters to watch the show anyway, despite their father’s “disapproval”. She apparently uses it as a teachable moment to point out dumb actions.
This premise is absurd yet sadly many parents subscribe to this poor logic. Parental use of so called teachable moments from bad examples on TV do not necessarily prevent bad behavior at all.
The take away that will resonate with teens (and younger) is the attention that the behavior is receiving, i.e. teen pregnancy, dressing like hos, etc. They will wish to emulate these behaviors despite a parent pointing out the pitfalls. Trust me, I have a 13 year old, and this is a developmental age that is naturally trying to conform.
My 13 is NOT allowed to watch the Kardashians and it is also interesting how this age group craves watching them in particular. Just because they are rich causes this age group to feel that they are to be looked up to - I point out that trashy values are low class, no matter how much money there is being thrown about.
These types (Kardashians, et. al.) will become role models, or try to, if you let them in your house. The best antidote is not to expose the children/teens to these programs at all.
It seems the daughters are in charge in that household.
Even a broken clock is right twice a day.
And a clock that loses one second a day is right only once every 118 years.
Not if it was set wrong to begin with. It runs with a permanent error.
