So? mcain lead obama too!

And then he dutifully threw the race to Obama like he always intended to.

Great news, he’s a tough cookie but will have to survive the assaults from the left & the establishment pubbies.

One thing Cain has going for him... he has absolutely no fear of hostile interviews. That recent slapdown of Lawrence O'Donnell was classic.

another recent poll had Cain ahead 34 to 28, that’s probably the one your thinking of.

I got those poll numbers off of RCP

here is the link to those

His "joke" about the electrified fence is an example of that.

It may have been a joke, but there's one heck of a lot of people in this country who would agree with it.

It’s a head to head poll, not a multiple entrant one.

McCain really did act as though he didn't even want to win that election. Palin, who DID want to win, must've been extremely frustrated having to deal with that old prick's campaign.

If Cain only pulls 72% of the Republicans AND IS STILL AHEAD then his true lead is a heck of a lot bigger than 43-41!!

Agreed. The remaining 28% are fence-sitters and establishment types who haven't yet bought into the idea of a real conservative leading the pack. As Cain's support level solidifies, most of them will come around.

I pray to the Lord for Mr. Cain’s protection and to strengthen him. He is going to be (and has been) bombarded by evil now that he is doing well in the polls.

Joining you in prayer and also sent in my second small donation to his campaign.

Hopefully he has people helping him with this so he makes no fatal speaking errors. This appears to be his only real vulnerability on the campaign trail.

My theory is early on Cain's entry into the race was meant to help put a conservative stamp onto the Republican platform... I don't believe he foresaw the success he's now having. Now he's the leading contender (how BEAUTIFUL that sounds!!), he'll pull together a more conventional campaign infrastructure. Watch for donation$ to make huge jumps as well.

There's a huge difference in the abilities of McCain and Cain to take the fight to Obama. With the fear Cain can win the nomination and go forward, Obama's people are likely screwing themselves into the ceiling trying to figure out how to take this guy down. Obama will have never faced as formidible a debate opponent as he will in Herman Cain.

I understand that, but head to head means nothing until there is one candidate for each. It’s a good thing (what you posted) b/c when Cain is the only candidate running, that number of republican support will increase.

How much longer will MB, Santorum and Huntsman continue? Is it really worth donating to them?

“Sounds like a joke but he had an ear piece. “

Would it matter? obama’s voices could never keep up with Herman or Newt.

Brian Sussman (KSFO, San Francisco) did a poll of his audience today, and last time I heard an update 96% of the voters were in favor of an electric fence. LOL
