I understand Anybody But Obama. We lived it 3 years ago. That is why we need to coalesce behind a conservative NOW!!!

Romney is best described as a Democrat in Republican clothes: a DIRC. I find him detestable. If he’s the nominee, I leave the Rep Party. It means the fight for the soul of the party by conservatives is lost.

If Romney gets the nomination, Sarah Palin will (not if) take it to her grave with her. She was the best chance to stop Romney and the best contrast to Obama. Thats not a legacy I would want to live with.

Calm yourself. You're so heartbroken over the woman that now you're turning on her.

If Romney gets the nomination, he loses. The media and the left will glue him to Wall Street on Day One. Conservatives will not hold their noses. He loses.

In 2016, Sarah runs and wins at the ripe old age of 52.

Right on. I despise Romney and all RINOs as much as the open leftist Dems.

If Romney or any RINO is the GOP’s nomineee, I will either leave the presidential blank or write in somebody. Vote for conservative Congress and senate.

No way will I ever vote for Romney for anything, much less president.

How can people even consider someone who has done the exact same thing that Barrycare does, destroy the medical system in order to grab more power for government? That's why I don't understand some of the “hot topics” about Romney, why would you ever get to the point of considering him and have to analyze anything about the guy other than just the fact of Romneycare?

There wouldn’t be a 2016. There might not be one, with America, no matter who wins.

Romney is a liberal.

What is it that you expect him to do if elected?

“This is important statement. There are a lot of Romney supporters here disguised as Cain supporters. I wish you luck in finding them and zotting them.”

Who? Who the is a Romney supporter who’s posing as a Cain supporter?

Name them.

Just because somebody doesn’t believe that Perry is a good conservative (or believe that Perry would stand a chance in a nationally televised debate against Obama) DOES NOT make them a ROMNEY supporter!

LOW BLOW!

I fought Perry when Perry was the ‘cool kid’ here in FR. I’ll fight Perry until the end.

Why?

Because I friggin’ LIVE in Texas and I think he’s a crappy conservative! (Texas can do better!)

What, exactly, would you expect to get from a President Romney?
More conservative Supreme Court nominees than I will from a President Obama.

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t want Romney either. But the above is a fact.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A fact? Are you outta you mind? We’ve had a Republican majority in the White House with more appointees to the Supreme Court than dems. But what good has that done us?
I have written off the SCOTUS years ago. No way will Mitt - even if he had 5 choices to appoint - could even make a difference to that liberal cess pool..
Now don't get your hopes up too high FRiend, but if Romney IS the GOP nominee, it would not surprise me to see Sarah Palin enter the race as an Independent and/or a candidate of the Tea Party. Now many will say she would guarantee the re-election of 0bama if she did that, but if there is no difference between the Kenyan Klown in the White House right now, and Mitt-Witt Obomney, what does it matter?
If Romney is the nominee, and Sarah Palin runs as an third party candidate, by God I will throw the lever for her, and do it enthusiastically!
There are a lot of Romney supporters here disguised as Cain supporters.
Actually it is the Perry supporters who are the Romney supporters in disguise.
How about you answer the questions this time instead of dreaming up the next attack rant to post about Cain?
Who got in the race last after it was clear Romney was not going to get any appreciable support from social conservatives?
Who did the GOP Establishment push into the race after it seem Tea Party heroine Bachmann was going to upset Romney’s ride to the nomination?
Who does the GOP Establishment see as their back up card if Romney fails?
Who has long standing intimate ties with the Liberal wing of the GOP Establishment?
The answer is Rick Perry.
Bill Kristol to a NY Time Reporter telling him how the GOP Establishment plans to deal with “the Tea party mutiny”
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/2792217/posts?page=3
Kristol told me just after Perry entered the race, a development that essentially ended [the more radical Michele] Bachmann’s brief ascent. Establishment Republicans may prefer Romney to Perry, but their assumption is that either man can be counted on to steer the party back toward the broad center next fall, effectively disarming the Tea Party mutiny.
Wonder who Perry will be VP with?
Odd how that question never gets asked of Perry.
Could it be because everyone knows Perry is the GOP Establishment mole in the race to split the Tea Party/Conservative vote and hand the nomination to Romney?
Could it be because they know the ticket the GOP Machine is setting up is “Romney/Perry 2012? Think about it. Romney has the money, Perry has the idolatrous worship from the social Conservatives.
Could that be why the Perry camp is knowingly lying about Cain’s solidly Conservative record on both social and fiscal issues? Because they know full well Perry’s record can not stand close scrutiny?
What does anyone really know about Perry other then the nice words and platitudes he puts in his speeches? Looks like Perry is just Bush 3.0 another tough talking social conservative who will go to DC and be yet another good little GOP crony capitalist water boy.
There won't be a 2016 that we recognize with Romney either. The GOP will have gone the way of the Whigs by halfway through his term.
I guess bottom line...I'll never vote for Romney, ever. I almost didn't vote for McCain. Palin was the only reason.
I am going to vote a straight Republican ticket, regardless of who the candidate(s) are.
Reducing or slowing regulation is the key to restoring the economy and the Executive Branch controls the “Plum Book” of critical Executive jobs in government. The Republican party will pull the right people into those positions, regardless of who the Republican POTUS is.
The goal is to control the House, Senate and veto pen. All else is secondary.
