Herman Cain on Occupy Wall Street: They want handouts

Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain slammed Occupy Wall Street protesters camped out in New York City’s Zuccotti Park Friday as hypocrites who would “rather have a handout than work.”

“Visiting New York this week, I found the organized street protests against Wall Street were the talk of the town. But I’m sorry — they lost me at hello,” writes Cain in a New York Post op-ed.

Cain argues that capitalism is the main driver of job creation in the United States, and criticizes protesters for the hypocrisy of attacking corporations that supply them with the technologies they themselves use.

“It’s ironic that protesters who have uniformly attacked the rich and corporate CEOs happen to sport iPods, iPhones and other innovative technological tools that entrepreneurs have worked so hard to invent, build and distribute to consumers,” he writes.

What we are dealing with are children in adult bodies acting like “spoiled” brats.

Next thing Cain needs to do is tie Obama to this mass of toe jam... isn't Obama the one who spoke of putting together a citizen army? Wasn't it a Union boss who recently introduce Obama to a crowd, and said that he and his unionistas were Obama's army waiting for the marching orders? And is't Obamas only claim to fame, that of being a community organizer, who's aim is to overpower by force rather than negotiation?

This is the way in fact Obama has operated with the congress, he bull-dosed through his first two years in office, caring not one wit of the concerns of the Republican minority or the rest of the country who 6 out of 10 did not agree with Obamacare.

One of the occupy Boston protesters was on the radio this morning and could not even say why they were there. However, he did say “like” about 250 times...they counted!

Cain is rather naive by characterizing these hoards as wanting "handouts."

They want to rob and plunder with impunity, period.

Cain says in his Op-Ed piece:

“When I grew up in the South during the era of segregation, my family had little money. But my father Luther and mother Lenora were rich in ideas, faith and love. They were hard workers and family oriented, and instilled those same values in their children.”

LOVE this guy. Obviously the best one around this GOP cycle. Should be a shoe-in, but I can see some temporary obstacles in the way. They will be knocked down or set aside, though. This is the nature of the man. Irrepressible and positive. He will take that RIGHT TO THE WHITE HOUSE and have Obongo and Michelle out there with their moving truck in NO TIME FLAT.
