This becomes Cain’s to lose. Once the primaries start and second-tier conservatives begin to drop out, those votes go to Cain, not Romney.

The result of the other candidates ganging up on Cain, plus the arrows coming at him from the State-controlled media.

It should be clear by now to all even the most ardent ‘Cainiac’ that the polls show that Cain can not win. And if Cain is the conservative he claims to be and not a stalking horse for Romney he needs to pull out of the race and endorse Perry.

The Tea Party supports a Sales Tax and a VAT. I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

Gingrich at Number 3 is worth thinking about. Running out of options fast.

EAGLES UP! DEFCON 3! ESTABLISHMENT THREATENED!!

We must close ranks now, time is of the essence, and field a united ANTI MITT CANDIDATE and coalesce behind him. There must be a STOP MITT ROMNEY MOVEMENT, there are only a few weeks left! Chris Christie, Jeb Bush, they are coming out of the woodwork for this phony RINO Romney.

And Sarah Palin is a part of that Stop Mitt Movement. Joe the Plumber. People like John Bolton who should be brought on as Foreign Policy campaign advisor and the like. Must grow legs. Very dangerous period now.

This will make the Perry people go nuts! Remember, they claim that they wouldn’t believe Herman was in the lead until Ras said so...well, here it is. Go Herman!!!

I have noticed that Romney can only muster 26% to 29% no matter what. I wold say he has maxed out and once the elections start the base will flock to Cain. Cain/Gingrich 2012

Watch Fox news and other GOP elites double their efforts to knock Cain and promote Romney.

Cain 29% Romney 29% Gingrich 10%

If we could have Cain's character, Newt's brains, and Romney's hair, we would be unbeatable.

Several things I notice:

1) 3 NATIONAL POLLS ( WSJ/NBC, PPP and now Rasmussen ) CONSISTENLY show Herman Cain nearing the 1/3 mark.

It remains to be seen whether he can sustain this. His 9-9-9 will be receiving SUSTAINED attack BOTH from Liberals AND Conservatives.

2) Romney was stuck at the 23 to 25% level for months but seems to have broken off and now reaching towards 29%. This could mean that those still hoping for a Christie run are moving towards him as the alternative ( now that the fat one has endorsed him ).

3) Newt Gingrich seems to be on the rise as well. Might be VP material. If Cain wins and he wants Newt as VP, Newt might have to officially shift his residency from Georgia to the Virginia/DC area ( where he spends most of his time anyway ). can’t have two Georgians running in tandem.

Cain/Gingrich. Cain for his business skills, Gingrich for his political skills.
We have a winner here.

That's the highest Romney has ever polled I think.

Seriously, if all these conservative don't start attacking him soon it will be too late.

In a two-way race, 43% would prefer Cain and 42% Romney. Cain leads Perry 54% to 29% in a two-man match and Romney leads Perry 54% to 30%. Cain is beating them all!
