why not 99....or 12 12
I already pay 8.5% sales tax...we do not need more sales tax around here....
just make it the income and coporate tax...bring the number up to what is needed and forget the sales tax.
First off, shifting more toward a sales tax stimulates business, jobs, and ultimately government revenue. You know, a recovery. People make more money. AND the other taxes drive up costs. Take that drag off businesses, and prices will drop — only question is “when”.
I like the Fair Tax myself. We’d get a “prebate” I think it was — you’d get a check mailed to you in anticipation of spending to offset the tax.
