Occupy Wall Street protesters plan 'Millionaires March' to the homes of the '1%'

The Occupy Wall Street protesters are planning to get in the face of some of New York's richest tycoons on Tuesday.

A "Millionaires March" will visit the homes - or, more realistically, the gleaming marble lobbies - of five of the city's wealthiest residents.

On the target list: NewsCorp CEO Rupert Murdoch, JP Morgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon, conservative billionaire David Koch, financier Howard Milstein and hedge fund mogul John Paulson.

Between 400 and 800 marchers plan to go to their homes to present them with oversize checks to dramatize how much less they will pay when New York State's 2% tax on millionaires expires at the end of the year.

"Ninety nine percent of the residents of New York are going to suffer from this tax giveaway so the 1% who already live in absolute luxury can put more money in their pockets," said Doug Forand, one of the march organizers.

"This is fiscally, economically and morally wrong."

The march kicks off at 12:30 p.m. at 59th Street and Fifth Avenue and heads to the Upper East Side.

I can't imagine the 99th through at least the 75th percentile are going to “suffer from this tax giveaway.” And how does the state “giveaway” something it has first seized from a law abiding citizen?

It’s time for them to hold up their red flag to claim they are Bolshevics, or should some one help them do so.

YOu really think that there isn’t greed in our country? Do you really believe that?

Perhaps you would refer to your bible that you can’t serve both God and Mammon.

However, you think there isn’t any greed at all in this country, you probably think adultry and theft are sins of an old past too.

But it’s also run by people? So do think corporations or heck anybody should be able to do whatever they want? What if every single job paid 9 bucks an hour and you had to work 140 hours a week under conditions in which 10% of the workforce lost limb every single day.. would that be ok with you?

By the way I aint worried about my money.. I’m doing just fine thank you.. I don’t want your money.. and my portfolio is in good shape too thanks. :)

But it’s also run by people?

What, a corporation? Of course it is...and owned by people...maybe even you.

So do think corporations or heck anybody should be able to do whatever they want?

Yeah, pretty much. It's a concept called economic freedom. Something we used to have in the USA before the socialists took over. That's what made America great.

What if every single job paid 9 bucks an hour and you had to work 140 hours a week under conditions in which 10% of the workforce lost limb every single day.. would that be ok with you?

No, but that's an outrageous question, a scenario that would never happen in a free market system....Besides, you don't actually have a right to have a job.

By the way I aint worried about my money.. I’m doing just fine thank you.. I don’t want your money.. and my portfolio is in good shape too thanks. :)

Why you evil corporate pig.

Outrageous conditions would never happen in a free market system?

You are a person who doesn’t understand his history.

You do realize the unions were created out of outrageous working conditions. They just festered into their own greedy organizations which is why Conservatives hate them today.

When voters go for a 90% top end tax rate again, the wealthy will have no one to blame but themselves.

Here is an economic lesson for you. Bubbles are created in an economy where wealth is concentrated way too much at the top end. 1% of the people are too connected and they all want a shot at making more money, so money follows money. Pay workers more and keep more out of their hands and their fortune is more stable.

But you probably don’t know economics either.

And I guess you didn’t understand the part where I said you don’t have a right to have a job.

It’s not business’ duty to provide jobs. Period. End of sentence.

No I don’t have a right to a job. Maybe you aren’t Christian, maybe you don’t care about your fellow man. I believe as a Christian Conservative that it is up to us as individuals to make the right decisions for our fellow man, not for us to make it for us.

Perhaps you have a sense of guilt. I don’t know for sure. You sure do talk like someone that has a heavy heart.

No I don’t have a right to a job.

Correct. But you do have a right to start a business, and hire as many people as you want.

Maybe you aren’t Christian, maybe you don’t care about your fellow man.

Maybe you're a whack-job.

I believe as a Christian Conservative that it is up to us as individuals to make the right decisions for our fellow man.

Well that's odd. I absolutely don't want anyone making decisions for me. I believe in personal freedom.

...not for us to make it for us.

Yeah, I had a little trouble digesting that one.

Perhaps you have a sense of guilt. I don’t know for sure. You sure do talk like someone that has a heavy heart.

Nope, don't go projecting crap on me.

I despise union thugs, especially government unions. I think the unions, the "environmental" communists and democrats in general, have decimated our ability to be productive. Right now they are mounting a full-bore assault on destroying our economy, and have done a pretty effective job at it.

They've almost destroyed the banking sector, the energy sector, the manufacturing sector, the housing sector and the automotive industry....and you like onerous regulations on industry? Nice work.

I fail to see how wanting my country back has anything to do with having a heavy heart or guilt.

I simply want everyone to keep their thieving hands off of our private property (the American economy)

Capisce?

So you believe in personal freedom? Does that mean you think it’s ok to kill people? Because that’s how ridiculous you look right now.

I think what you really want is to rape and pillage. You don’t want freedom.. you want death. Only the strong survive?

So you believe in personal freedom?

Yes, thousands of people tell me that I do.

Does that mean you think it’s ok to kill people? Because that’s how ridiculous you look right now.

No, that's another outrageous assumption on your part. (making you the one that looks ridiculous) I think it's an absolute right to be able to defend yourself and your family. (see A2)

I think what you really want is to rape and pillage. You don’t want freedom.. you want death.

No, rampant killing is what you have in your deep blue communist US cities, perhaps where you live, where gun control laws are prolific, and gun criminals are not properly penalized. I wouldn't be caught dead there.

Policing and justice are supposed to be legitimate functions of state and local government, but they don't always do a good job of it.

Only the strong survive?

No, only those with proper training and an adequate piece.

But on the other hand, she had warts. I thought we were talking about economics.

In the case of proper roles of church and state, the government should protect the citizens and their businesses from attack. (instead of attacking them)

Providing a safety net for the truly needy and suddenly disadvantaged citizens, is a role for the churches.

Now go read some Constitutions and get out of my face.

THE END!

Please you don’t have a clue about the constitution. You haven’t even read what I said. I from the very beginning said that I’m not for a state solution. You just can’t read. You like a mindless robot repeating yourself over and over again.

To get back on point. There is much greed in the world. If you don’t see it. You aren’t human.
