Watch this video of strange group behavior. Effects of drug use? Mob rule psychology? Really strange people in control.
Our country is being taken over.
It's "mic check" - I have seen individuals do that at all their GA (General Assembly) events - it's done to get the group leader's attention ... it threw me the first few times I saw it too, but, if you've ever 'done' (set up for use) an event with a PA system then you realize the utility of using those words when doing stage setup and testing the mics with the board operator setting levels on the PA mixer ...
Hear it, say it, act it, smell it.....all they are missing is the writing it. The best way to remember anything is to involve all the senses.
I think they’re saying “Mic Check.”
I think he said ‘ damn them ppl be crazy thanks for figuring out a way for me to walk away safely.’
Anyone know where in Atlanta this took place? That’s got to be somewhere near downtown, but I can’t place it. I see the Little 5-Points crowd is there.
Thanks for the link. I was trying to figure out the venue. I don’t recall Woodruff Park being that big or having any trees.
Woodruff Park maybe?
Occupy Atlanta settles into Woodruff Park

Conformation from:
Congressman John Lewis came out to Occupy Atlanta on Friday, October 7th in Woodruff Park. He even commented on the Atlanta General Assemblys group consensus process saying this is not something strange or out of the ordinary for me, and he was not at all disappointed he wasnt able to adress the Assembly.
With a facilitator, the Emotional Freedom Technique, or EFT, sounds exactly like that. The facilitator says a phrase and the others it while tapping on one of a number of special points on the head and upper body. The purpose of EFT is to exorcize negative emotions, and it actually seems to have that effect for many people. This EFT video exemplifies that rhythm.
I would be interested to know what the non-tapping, mind control technique is called and where it originated.
Why would they need to employ this method when the speaker was already using a megaphone?
Here’s a video of what happened after John Lewis left. Honestly, I wasn’t able to watch the whole thing. I still haven’t completely recovered from what I saw yesterday.

because somebody thought it would be “cool”
Not surprising. Their blind faith in socialism lets them excuse it every time by saying "the wrong people got in charge; we just have to put the right people in power and everything will work!"
These must be some of the idiots that enjoyed inflated national test scores in the Atlanta Public School System when they cheated the last couple of years. I’ve not seen such idiocy in quite a while.

Why would they need to employ this method when the speaker was already using a megaphone?Notice, not everyone has access to 'a mic' (esp. those in the audience, the bulk of the group) ... these appear designed to be a highly-participatory events, actually meant to create 'consensus', to get everyone on board.
Having watched several of their General Assemblies and observed how they handle various issues, it all becomes clear ...

I was trying to figure out where I had heard exactly that speaking rhythm before, with the audience echoing every phrase of the speaker. I finally figured it out.Interesting observation ... blends in with other 'mediation' techniques of note ...With a facilitator, the Emotional Freedom Technique, or EFT,
Things are really falling apart on Wall Street.

They have to pay attention to what is said and if they disagree a bit, it doesn't matter since their brain is making them say it. If they say it, they will believe it.
