From Stand With Arizona:
Breaking: Gil Cedilo, the lawmaker who authored the "California Dream Act" - the $40 million tuition grant and financial aid bill for illegal aliens - minutes ago said that Gov. Jerry Brown has signed it. Now CA will be able to steal tens of millions from citizens to give to illegals. Brown signed the controversial bill in secret on a weekend during football games, with a midnight deadline looming, to try and hide this disgrace from taxpayers. California is truly lost.

Let's see......what other govenor signed a Dream Act for his state?
Oh, that's right, Perry! Imagine that! A Republican govenor running for the Republican ticket doing the exact same thing as a Democrat govenor.
Brilliant, simply brilliant....*sigh*

And why wouldn’t he sign this into law?
California is just overflowing with cash.
I’m sorry but if I lived there I would be leaving on the first train east bound.

Good thing California is rolling in the dough. Otherwise, we’d soon be belly up. Hmmmm.... maybe Obama will bail us out. He’s got trillions of available cash just waiting to be printed.

But Assemblyman Gil Cedillo (D-Los Angeles) said he was notified Saturday morning by the governor's aides that Brown has approved the measure, which makes illegal immigrants who are accepted into state universities eligible, starting in 2013, for Cal-Grant assistance.
Do I understand this correctly? California is going to subsidize the higher education for illegal aliens who after graduation either work illegally in America as day laborers, or go back to their home country to gain professional employment?
Since California has no power to grant citizenship to these illegal aliens these PhD's can never be legally hired in any of "our" 57 states - including KALIFORNIA.

This is probably true.
But if a buyer came along I would be out before they make it mandatory that you STAY in California.

Me, too. My target: Irving, TX on Oct 21.
As you can imagine my household is a big mess with boxes all over the place.
So leave the liberals to clean up after their own mess. There are more people in the cart than pulling it. This just piles more people into the cart and pulls more off the handle.

I have a mental picture of Californians swirling down the toilet bowl, while the people they elected are reaching up one more time trying to reach the flush handle.
