1. I am the original poster of the article.

2. The article pointed out that Cain will fracture the conservative vote, helping Romney win.

“Fracturing the anti-Romney vote has made it all the easier for Romney to win. “

3. It is true — like it or not, this race is between Romney and Perry. Conservatives aren’t likely to vote for Romney in the primary, so they either vote for Perry or someone else. When they vote for someone else, that’s fewer votes for Perry, hence Romney walks away with the nomination — this is what the article says and this is what I say. Simple logic.

He’s not going to “fracture the conservative vote” because HE IS the conservative candidate. If anything you have it backwards: Rick Perry will to a degree (though he’s more ‘establishment (G.W.B)’. Beside as a conservative (I support Herman Cain for Potus), but I’d rather Romney at this point than slick George W. Perry. Just saying..
