The calls were made by representatives of the law firm Baker Hostetler - a firm that employs lawyer Mark Braden, who represents Sarah PAC, her political action committee.
As Ken notes, while he nor representatives of Palin’s campaign would comment on the calls, Palin is the only GOP politician eying the presidential race who is represented by the firm.
The current thinking in GOP election law circles is that the first hard cut-off for entering the race is Oct. 28, when presidential candidates who hope to appear on the ballot in the New Hampshire primary would be required to submit a filing fee from a federally registered presidential campaign committee.

With Perry's and Bachman’s self sabotage and the MSM just getting their hate fest on for Cain we have to hope Santorum or Newt can overcome THEIR considerable piles of baggage and continue the first mission in the grand mission of stopping Obama—that is to stop Romney.
I'm glad it is still early—if things are like this in January I think we will be in trouble.

Ain’t much in the grander scale of things, but I’ve got a thousand bucks saved up for her campaign the day she announces. And I know several FReepers who have said the same thing. It’ll be a patriotic grassroots conservative tea party campaign against the elite establishment blue bellies.

The way the HL is phrased, I thought it was another attack on her, and I was going to reply “The attorney general of the United States diverted federal tax-payer monies to purchase and deliver munitions to the drug cartels, which resulted in the deaths of many, including a Border Patrol officer, and then lied under oath to Congress about the affair.”

Louise is an awesome name that fell out of style for some unknown reason. But I predict the name will make a comeback :)
She knows how most of us feel and so has to know she has a huge potential PAC right here for her just waiting to be triggered.
In fact there are several “unaffiliated” Palin PACs around collecting resources in case they get the call from Wasilla.
She may not have the big Mitt or Perry machines backing her but I think,once she announces,one will spring up practically overnight.
