The calls were made by representatives of the law firm Baker Hostetler - a firm that employs lawyer Mark Braden, who represents Sarah PAC, her political action committee.
As Ken notes, while he nor representatives of Palin’s campaign would comment on the calls, Palin is the only GOP politician eying the presidential race who is represented by the firm.
The current thinking in GOP election law circles is that the first hard cut-off for entering the race is Oct. 28, when presidential candidates who hope to appear on the ballot in the New Hampshire primary would be required to submit a filing fee from a federally registered presidential campaign committee.

It was great to tie together Palin's career, her fight against the establishment, and her deeply engrained integrity.
But wow did it throw the gauntlet down to the national, entrenched and entitled political class- especially the GOP.
And deservedly so. What surprised me the most is what she faced upon returning to Alaska- a completely unwilling legislature and a citizenry that bought into the left's Alinsky tactics. For all that she accomplished for that state, the way she was abandoned is shocking.
The last three commentators of Levin, Breitbart and Bruce absolutely tied together Palin's career and her rage against the machine in a way that should resonate to the core of many Americans.
This movie absolutely solidified my belief that Sarah Palin is not another brick in the wall, and will be the one to swing the sledgehammer to bring it down.
First time I am seeing it and glad I did.....I can understand frustration with duplicate threads but this particular is very important that every FREEPER sees because she is really the only candidate that can kick Obama to the curb.

I wonder how it’s doing at Walmart....they’re selling a special edition DVD plus they have a bundle with the DVD and a copy of the audiobook Going Rogue. That’s where I ordered my copy.
We have 3 Walmarts here. Going to them today and see if I can get the DVD. I already have “Going Rogue” hardback book. Got it when it first came out. Wasn’t an audiobook though. Will check and see if they have the “bundle”.

I LOVE the sound of Palin/Cain! I didn’t know Cain said he would be happy to be VP. I think that duo would be unbeatable. They would also bring humor and optimism to our nation and both will be sorely needed. They will both be at Libery College this Saturday. Is there anything, other than tradition, that precludes them from saying they will run together during the primary?
