I lifted those numbers right from here:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Republican_Party_(United_States)_presidential_primaries,_2008

And it’s the way I remember it, too. McCain won big on Super Tuesday then went on to win a few more in a row and it was effectively a KO punch to Romney.

Romney is a libtard, but he’s not a retard. He knew he didn’t have a chance, so he got out while the getting was good.

Perry is toast!

Perry panders to the illegal aliens by calling conservative voters “Heartless”.

I’m sorry but that’s complete B.S. and you everyone else knows it.

If Perry does not understand this basic concept, then sorry I don’t trust him.

However, I do trust Herman Cain.

I was speaking about Perry.

“However, I do trust Herman Cain.”

Good for you for trusting Romney’s straw man. Enjoy Mitt as the GOP nominee and 4 more years of Obama.

I really like Ann but I find myself wondering lately where in the hell is she coming from?

Ann jumped the shark for me a while back, with her becoming the spokeswoman for GOProud, her weird obsession with Chris Christie (Moderate-NJ), and her shrewish cat scratching against Sarah Palin.

As far as I can tell, she's part of the north-east country club circuit. I don't get her at all anymore.

I was speaking about Perry.

Although he's not anti-2A, he's not good either. If Hispanics overwhelm this country too rapidly, it's over for the Republic.

California, once a prosperous and conservative state, attracted hordes of middle class professionals fleeing from the East Coast. They brought their elitist preferences with them and wanted to "help" the servant class. They instituted welfare to "care" for same. Hispanics flooded the place. Now look at it.

Elect Perry as President and that's your future.

You said,

“Romney had no chance of winning the primary against McCain, not after Super Tuesday.”

Okay here is Wiki(anyone can edit it)pedia... link

“Romney was considered a top-tier candidate in his bid for the Republican nomination, despite hurdles such as low name recognition and questions about his Mormon faith. Romney partly financed his campaign with his own personal fortune, having contributed over $35 million of the $90 million raised by his campaign, as of January 31, 2008.[3] Despite that, he also raised more money than any other Republican primary candidate.

In a nationwide poll conducted on January 2, 2008, Romney was placed first among Republican voters nationally.[4] However, he came in second in the Iowa caucuses to Mike Huckabee. Romney followed up with his first win of the campaign season in the Wyoming caucus, although it received little media attention. He then lost the New Hampshire primary to John McCain, but won the Nevada Primary with 51 percent of the vote, with Ron Paul in second place and John McCain third, and won the Michigan primary by 9 percentage points, leaving the nomination result up in the air. He then finished fourth in the South Carolina primary and finished second to McCain in the hotly contested Florida primary, a result which gave McCain the lead in delegates and the status of “frontrunner” heading in to Super Tuesday.[5]

On February 7, 2008, two days after McCain posted strong gains in the Super Tuesday primaries, Romney announced the end of his campaign;[6] a week later he endorsed McCain.”

Are you daft?

Delegate Standings on February 6
McCain - 680
Romney - 270
Huckabee - 176

A few days later McCain picked up 113 more delegates.

It was over then. It’s been long over since then. Why are you trying to revive it?

But I still see a national sales tax being raised again and again until it reaches 20% as it is in many countries in Europe

Because everyone pays the sales tax, not just a few, the sales tax would be harder to raise than the income tax, or specific brackets of the income tax, where you can use class warfare to gain acceptance of the increase. That is why I prefer it over the income tax, and why the 9-9-9 plan is a transition to a national sales tax and the elimination of an income tax.

Right and a lot of people keep saying Cain endorsed Romney, but this was after it was Romney V McCain. A lot freepers were on the Romney bandwagon then too.

In his press conference just now...

“So, to the people of New Jersey, you’re stuck with me!”
