The rock is not the thing that bothers me about Perry. Not at all.
It’s the fact he said WE are heartless racists that bothers me most.
A racist rock. That’s precious.
The despicable super liberal Romney gave a typical disgusting response. This little POS is going to be exposed for everyone to see his super liberal record and like in 2008 he would lose the nomination. McCain finished him in 2008 with one TV ad where he exposed his flip flops on several issues and showed everyone that Romney support abortion, gun control, and gay marriage. This will be done again and in the right time.
They SHOULD give him a pass.
And then they SHOULD take after the racist media for paint all Repubs for being racists.
They need to be prepared with both barrels when they go on these shows.
This is the norm for the Washington Post.
ALL Republican candidates would be on safe grounds simply responding to any story from the Washington Post by saying "That's the Post ~ find an honest source".
I am sure if we plumb the depths of shelly’s background we will find “peckerwood hill” in her family somewhere...
Castellanos is a Romney butt-boy.
Whatever the damage, it has already been done, and THAT was the WAPo and the media aim.
Looks like Romney is eager to believe the cr*p that oozes out of the Post. That is shameful.
Hmm... so it’s a scandal that Rick Perry didn’t go back in time to the 1850’s and change the name from “niggerhead” to something palatable in the 2010’s. And it’s surprising that his “rivals” aren’t jumping all over him for something he had nothing whatsoever to do with, and his dad painted over in 1983 regardless. On a property that he didn’t even OWN. Now that’s a real scandal. That a property that Rick Perry’s dad rented (not OWNED!) had an offensive word on it that was turned over and covered for roughly 30 years.
This is from Austin AM radio station KRLD’s news bureau chief, via Twitter: “Overheard in #Austin: The #RickPerry ranch name story is “being pushed by GOP leadership; they don’t think he’s electable in the general.” http://twitter.com/#!/scottbraddock
I wonder if this above has anything to it? Putting the Perry campaign off balance so they can insert Christie easier.

I believe Perry was a Democrat at the time the offensive word was on the rock . . .
I presume they encourage MS-13.
If anything, the way it played out was more of an education for Cain about dealing with the msm and how much they totally suck and to a lesser degree an educational moment about an incident from Perry's past and an insight into his (and Cain's) character.
It's more of a negative for Cain than for Perry, but not a deal breaker for either.
I keep hearing that this was Cain playing the race card, but I don't see that at all. Instead, I see men with class dealing with something lacking any class whatsoever, and that includes the classless "gotcha" style journalism.
Can you spot the racist rock in this picture?

RINO of the month club.
They are very stupid if they think that Christie is going to take away votes from Perry. He is going to take away votes from the other super liberal Romney. Therefore as a strong Perry supporter I would love to have Christie in the race.
