If anything, the way it played out was more of an education for Cain about dealing with the msm and how much they totally suck and to a lesser degree an educational moment about an incident from Perry's past and an insight into his (and Cain's) character.
It's more of a negative for Cain than for Perry, but not a deal breaker for either.
I keep hearing that this was Cain playing the race card, but I don't see that at all. Instead, I see men with class dealing with something lacking any class whatsoever, and that includes the classless "gotcha" style journalism.
I agree. I was very disappointed in Cain for jumping on a 27 year old story that doesn't exist anymore. That was dumb. Next time, he should verify before he opens his mouth.
I think the dirt they dug up about Perry hasn’t stuck because the Perryettes immediately began throwing it at Herman Cain. (And it won’t stick there either!)
