AMANDA KNOX ACQUITTED, TO BE RELEASED IMMEDIATELY
Thailand?
>> the prosecutor of this case has several questionable ethical issues <<
Much more than just “ethical issues” — if my understanding is correct. I heard on one of the shows earlier today that he had recently been disciplined for prosecutorial misconduct in another murder case, being sorta the “Mike Nifong” of northern Italy.
Ann has been missing the boat on a number of issues in the past year or so.
This, GOP Proud, and Chris Christie are the worse.
Someone gets murdered, her close associates will be looked at. If one is behaving in a suspicious manner, they will be investigated.
That stuff no doubt helped lead to her conviction, but honestly, those things just are not enough evidence of murder or even knowledge of murder. She could have been drunk and not remembered that night etc....lots of reasons behind why that could have happened.
Since she didn’t do this one, I hope she doesn’t start to murder, well maybe except for the Italian prosecutor.
Sorry....had to make a bad joke there.
Yes. That is the bottom line. The Italians were thinking, “This woman’s got connections; this is making us look bad. Let’s get her out of the country and make sure she never comes back.”
That's just the way it is, always has been, always will be.
Coulter nearly endorsed Romney this weekend.
Yes, and the DNA that they convicted her on was not only miniscule but found on a knife in the apartment that she shared with the victim.
That was before the actual facts were exposed.
She’ll team up with Casey Anthony for a talk show on CNN I presume?
This time one not-so-hot got acquited.
A knife the she supposedly cleaned with bleach but was covered with corn starch.
By that measure, the merits of the case were not there in the OJ trial either. Yet, we all know he was guilty as hell.
All I am pointing out is that as time goes on, people tend to forget the underlying crime and start sympathizing with the accused even when they are likely guilty. Perhaps there was not enough evidence needed to convict Knox, but that sure as heck doesn't make her innocent. This girl is going to make millions now, and as far as I am concerned she's likely a murderer. Oh well, ultimately God will be the judge of her.
Her family is NOT loaded.....they nearly bankrupted themselves travelling from Seattle to Italy to visit their daughter during the four years she was in prison.
The was no DNA linking either Amanda or her boyfriend to the murder scene. None. Amanda claimed that she and her boyfriend were watching a movie on his computer the night of the murders, but the computer’s hard drive was conviently erased while in the custody of the prosecutors.
The head prosecutor was recently censured for mis-conduct.
He believes that every crime is a conspiracy involving satanic cults. This is the same prosecutor who investigated serial killings in Florence in recent years, in which young couples were brutally murdered. The case was never solved, but once again this nutjob prosecutor claimed satanic rituals were involved. An American author was writing a book about the killings, and the prosecutor threatened to arrest the author for the killings unless the author left Italy, which he did the next morning.
The Amanda Knox case stunk to high heaven from the beginning, and I’m glad she and her boyfriend were freed.
The “evidence” simply did not exist implicating these two.
She’s not that hot, and frankly, it has nothing to do with how unbelievably weak the evidence against her was.
Exactly. And all they get is a small trace of her DNA. This was a sham of a case to begin with. I didn’t follow it closely and just today read about Guede telling others in jail and a buddy of his that Amanda and her boyfriend weren’t even there.
It’s obvious this prosecutor had it out for her. Not sure if it’s because he doesn’t like Americans or if it’s because she was pretty and he was jealous. But whatever the reason he’s the one that belongs in jail. This is like the Nifong deal at Duke—yes it’s that obvious that she didn’t do it.
