Sarah Palin: Is her caribou cooked already?

Eleven days before Michigan's candidate registration deadline. And we still don't know if former Gov. Sarah Palin is going, as she puts it, to toss her name into the hat.
Here's Palin's problem: We don't know. She likes it that way. It's late by contemporary announcement standards. And many of us, even those fascinated by her refreshing rogueness, have stopped caring. Certainly her would-be Republican opponents have moved on, as they should.
So, does it even matter now if SP drives her beautiful bus straight through the gates of tradition into a rogue race?

there is no evidence on the ground in the early primary states of her having a real organization. No organization? Organize4Palin has volunteer groups established in all 50 states. In some states (like Iowa), they have a group in every county.

Fox News employs a polling outfit based in Massachusetts of all places!
What does THAT tell you about their alleged polls?

With all of the intelligent, if conflicting opinions around here, its hard to believe any of them will be wrong. Everyone seems to be such wise guessers! Unfortunately, time will tell who of the wise is the wisest.
My favorites are the opinions whose wisdom comes from a lack of patience and a perceived internal time clock, the springs of which are winding down.
I would really like some of the guessers here to explain why things have to be the way they have to be. That is, without stating another opinion supporting the first opinion.
Facts are harder to grasp...

Of course it does. Because once she does that, the entire race is turned on its head.
And just one question: Why isn't it too late for Christie or other men to enter the race, but it's too late for a Palin? I'd charge sexism, but I really think it's just a case of PDS.

It tells me that no amount of reasoning that Palin is a bad choice in 2012 will get past the foaming, rabid “rationality” of some people.

I just went to (the State of) Washington’s page at Organize4Palin...and there ISN’T one. No state contact, not state blog, no state events...nothing.
If there’s an organization in this state, it’s so far underground as to be invisible.

They all seem to have gotten the same date someplace. --
Well, IBD and CNN both said the 15th, if that's the "same date," then okay.
But IBD narrowed it down to October 15th, and CNN to November 15th, so not exactly the same ;-)

So, as usual, every time someone posts this link, I go to "Ohio" and the answer comes up "No results" comes up. So I went to two early primary states---SC and NH. SC had "no results found." NH had a single blog entry by the coordinator . . . dated a month ago, with no state events planned.
So this is "Organize4Palin?" Really?

You are the 5th person I’m going to say this too: I’m not going to baby a lazy person when mos if not all of the info you need has been posted on FR for quite awhile, a lot of FReepers choose to ignore and then b*tch and moan about how they don’t know what’s going on
To: Covenantor
Got it. The Organize4Palin folks probably just didn’t have the link. Thanks.
I did go to the page, but there’s a message that says the site won’t really be active until Sarah makes an announcement.
