Republican presidential hopeful Herman Cain criticized the name of a hunting camp once leased by Gov. Rick Perry's family as "just plain insensitive" in an appearance on Fox News Sunday. The name of the camp "Niggerhead" was first reported by the Washington Post on Saturday. The paper said the name was painted on a rock at the entrance of the property. Perry reportedly began hosting fellow lawmakers, friends and supporters at the secluded ranch early in his career. The offensive phrase has been painted over, but the Post's sources and the Perry campaign differ on when that was done. The Post reports that the name can still be seen through the paint. "My reaction is, that's just very insensitive," Cain told Fox. "[There] isn't a more vile, negative word than the N-word, and for him to leave it there as long as he did, before I hear that they finally painted over it, is just plain insensitive to a lot of black people in this country."

Worse than his endorsement of Romney in 2008 is the statement the other day where he said he wouldn’t vote for Perry in the general election, but he could vote for Romney if he were the candidate.
Cain will backstab us like Colin Powell did with Obama, if Perry is our nominee.
Cain is dead to me.
I voted for McRino because of Sarah Palin. McRino is much more conservative than Mittens, but I still had to hold my nose to vote for him. My theory on voting for McRino, he said he’d only serve one term, then Sarah would have been in the perfect spot to run for President, if he’d won.
It seems you and Perry have your sheets in the laundry. He is TOAST !!I'm a Southerner however I've been Reconstructed
A bigger deal is that 70% of those using Romneycare are illegal aliens.
Yes. Since the Federal government requires that all states much educate all students from K-12 for free, Texas and a dozen other states have decided that the cost of treating an illegal as in-state outweighs the social cost of having them drop out or end their education at graduation. Time will tell if that is true, but it’s a perfectly reasonable thing to attempt.
State’s have the obligation of doing what’s best for their state.
Perry has given Cain nothing but praise in the past.
We shall see how this all plays out.
Have you taken the matter up with your congress critter?
Congratulations.
Have a nice life.
Cain jumps the shark.
Here's what Perry said about that 1988 primary and general election:
Not only did I vote for George H.W. Bush for president, I switched parties the next year, Perry said. When I did that, I made both political parties happy.
So, at about 40 Perry became a Republican. Good for him.
Disappointed to see Cain fall for this.
You really think so? He better be well prepared for the next debate because you know this question is coming.
Debate #4 Question:
This question is for Governor Perry. Its been reported that you once leased a hunting camp known by the name Niggerhead. Tell us, where you not bothered by the name, and if so why did you not select another hunting camp instead?
Talk about a question that can make someone TOAST real quick.
What’s worse is that Cain was part of the media - as a talk show host in Atlanta radio. He can’t claim naivete’.
Thanks for posting.
I always knew the term in the ‘logging road boulder’ sense.
f the story is a long time ago, Cain should tell them to go find another non-story to get all Makada’d up about. The racist card is wearing a bit thin.
Pray for America
I saw him on fox news, doubling down.
Cheap shot. This may be his ‘heartless’ moment
