Sorry but my hiking days are limited to taking the garbage out. But, I definitely enjoyed the beauty of the area and the wonderful people that live there.
Spot on MNJ. I wonder what kind of lobby the tax attorneys, and cpas have ? And how many millions of cpas are there.
Thank you for the excellent list of many of Christie's shortcomings for national office. I was desperately hoping he would have the sense NOT to get in the race. (Fat chance on sense--he's going after the people who ran Giuliani's magnificent campaign.)
However, if he is challenged on those points plus his appointing a Muslim judge, supporting the Victory Mosque at Ground Zero, etc., he'll be out in two debates MAX! Although I think he would come in with a pretty high number because of people who only know of his terrific handling of union teachers and other super left fools. He'll drop like a rock when the rest comes out.
Hopefully that will show the Establishment hacks that they're not calling our shots anymore.
The difference between the topics, survival of the country vs. issues intended to divert our attention.
Unbelievable!
I don’t know why. I don’t think she’s a sellout as much as she’s lost her way.
Focus on the task at hand. Much of the invective posts are from people inside the campaigns in one form or fashion. Most FReepers and all Repubs should respect all the candidates on the Conservative side.
I am working on this special election and completely ignore the individual candidates and am focused on winning this election.
Pray for America
Coulter has gotten comfortable doing the GMA circuit and doesnt want to have to defend true Conservatives. Harry Smith will accept Christie over Palin or Cain so she keeps her credentials.
Question is, who is going to read her books now?
Pray for America
We have to accept the fact that some on our side are just lousy at picking candidates. How else did we end up with Dole, Ford or McCain.
None of the brilliance about Coulter’s great book Treason, for instance, is negated by her inexplicably picking Romney or Christie. Not one word of the overarching truth about the liberal smears in her column just this week is made less true because she herself favors a lib for president.
Coulter is a writer and an on-air pundit/humorist. No one is perfect and she is particularly lame at picking candidates. But many of her books have been ESSENTIAL reading these past years.
(Hey. Everyone has a weak spot somewhere. I can’t hit the curveball to save myself. But donchu be thinking you can get the smoke past me!)
Good post however we have to do more that simply shrug off the racist charges. We have to throw it back into the faces of the regime and let them know we are aware of the con they have been perpetuating on us and let them know it won’t work and will backfire on them.
We want Christie in to split the Mitt Rino vote. More the merrier.
Pray for America
Establishment Republicans, I would expect.
McCain’s comments are predictable. He is starved for attention.
Yeah, I know, Alas. It was a weird moment to hear that. I walked outta the den, I'm cleaning the house for a houseguest later. So, I walk by, and there, big as life, she utters that line.
I froze.
I knew she didn't just say that.
She confirmed it.
I calmly went back into the den, retrieved a large caliber glock, and then, I shot my television.
EAST Tennessee bump!
We want Christie in to split the Mitt Rino vote. More the merrier.
Pray for America

Exactly, And who isn’t so sick of the Christie blather at this point that they haven’t echoed Mark Levin’s taunt when he said, “OK, fat man, get in the race and let’s see you crash and burn.”
(Well, I paraphrase.)
My comfort comes from the belief that we will elect so many more tea partiers that it will make no difference who is Pres. WE WILL LEAD THEM.
It's already happening to a degree.
With a Cain, Palin, Santorum, Bachmann we could relax, With a Romney, Perry, Christie, Gingrich they'd be kept on the straight and narrow by the House of Reps, and maybe even a new senate in Rep. control. They all have a conservative side to them.
Whomever we feel will beat Obama ! ...who, btw, I've come to see as nothing more than a professional money launderer.
Perusing that roster, I see one hell of a cabinet and new adminstration.
Don't get upset FR has always had a wide variety of posters.I pick my threads. As you know your wisdom is always needed here.
Out of control spending is a by production of our corrupt tax code. It creates the illusion that "government benefits" are paid by someone else plus creates the need for massive lobbying that corrupts the political system. Because Congress can always reward or punish via that tax code. Special Interest groups continually pump billions $ into lobbying DC for tax code favors.
9-9-9 elminitate that power.
Understood, but I checked out Demonic from the library and then heard her call Palin supporters Demonic and cultish and took it back without reading it. We are anything but worshipers of Palin.
How can someone turn on her own fans over her pick? Her laughing at us with Ingrahm was the final straw.
Fat chance
Up until then I had not spilled any coffee....
